The purpose of this process of Korean acquisition by foreign learners. One of central issues in current second language acquisition research concerns the question of whether principles of Universal Grammar (UG) are accessible to the adult second language learner. I will discuss these studies that investigate the availability of parameters. And The main focus of this paper is placed on the effect of overt instruction of parameters of UG principles on Korean education. In the Principles and Parameters Theory, those aspects of grammar which are accounted for by various parameters : Head-initial/Head-final parameter, Head-Complement parameter, Functional category parameter, wh-movement parameter, Pro-drop parameter. This study will be helpful to suggest the efficient view of Korean acquisition by foreign learners. (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies)
