This paper aims to provide a efficient structure and essential contents of Korean teaching material comparing the former materials. For both beginners and experts in studying foreign language the knowledge of pronunciation is very important. Thus education of pronunciation should be considered more important than any other one. However, the teaching materials which was published in either Korea or China can satisfy neither teacher nor student. Considering this situation, this paper compared and analyzed the representative books which are used in educational institutions of Korean language in China. The paper observed how the books describe the vowel, consonant, the final consonant and the rule of phonological change in Korean language. Then it pointed out the problems and proposed the plan of developing a comprehensive teaching material for basic Korean learners in China.
