through Korean traditional musical instrument “Daegeum”. It makes foreigners to understand Korean spiritual world and to upgrade Korean language abilities.
Following suggestions are made with the theoretical background above.
1) Korean educational field should be allowed to choose the general cultural factors without restriction.
2) The educational category selection of Korean traditional music should not be affected by the popular subject or the wide preference range of the masses.
3) The teaching method of cultural relativism which acknowledges the traditional culture difference between learners and teachers is recommended.
4) Culture learning for the better understanding of Korean language should be an education of experience and sensitivity.
5) Culture learners should express their cultural experiences and feelings through training for integration of 4 language skills.
Also the field experience of culture learning through “Daegeum” verify that teaching method for Korean language through Korean traditional music can be effective. (Sun Moon University)
