본 논문의 목적은 판소피아 특성의 교육적 함의를 고찰하는 것이다. 판소피아(Pansophia: 전체적 지혜)란 코메니우스(J. A. Comenius)의 교육사상을 대표하는 말이다. 판소피아의 특성은 크게 ‘완전성’과 ‘전체성’으로 구성되어 있다. ‘완전성’은 로마서 11:36 에 뿌리를 두고 있는데, 그 세부적 특성으로는 ‘영원성’, ‘형상성’, ‘목적성’이 있다. ‘전체성’은 골로새서 1:28 과 관련되어 있으며, 그 구체적 특성은 ‘통일성’, ‘조화성’, ‘질서성’이다. ‘완전성’은 교육목적과 연결되어 교육가치(영원성), 교육실현(형상성), 교육방향(목적성)을 형성하는 데 토대가 된다. 전체성은 교육요소와 연결되어 교육주체(통일성), 교육객체(조화성), 교육방법(질서성)의 근거를 제공한다. 결론적으로 교육 현장에서 판소피아의 특성이 통합적으로 적용될 때, 궁극적으로 ‘범지인’이 양성될 수 있다.

The purpose of this article is to examine the educational implications of the characteristics of Pansophia. Pansophia is a word that represents the educational thought of J. A. Comenius. Pansophia's characteristics are largely composed of ‘Completeness’ and ‘Totality’. ‘Completeness’ is rooted in Romans 11:36. The detailed characteristics of ‘completeness’ are ‘eternity’, ‘morphology’, and ‘purpose’. ‘Totality’ is related to Colossians 1:28. The specific characteristics of totality are ‘unification’, ‘harmony’, and ‘orderability’. Completeness is the basis for forming educational values(eternality), educational realization(formality), and educational direction(objectiveness) in connection with educational purposes. Totality is connected to the educational elements and provides the basis for the education subject(unity), education object(harmony), and education method(order). In education, when the characteristics of Pansophia are integrated, it can ultimately foster a wise person as a whole.
