초등학생의 의사소통 유형별 실태 조사 ―친교 대화, 발표, 토론/토의를 중심으로

This study analyzed the elementary school students` communication style and the degree of experiencing problem in communication such as the conversation in friendly relations, presentation, and a debate/discussion. The major findings can be summarized as follows: 1) As for the conversation in friendly relations, the communication style of the students who belong to the higher classes, the female group, and the outer-directed group appeared to be more developed. On the other hand, the degree of experiencing problem in communication was higher in the group of lower classes, the male group, and the reserved group than others. 2) As for presentation, the attitude level of the students who have an outgoing personality and who have lots of experience was high than others. The degree of experiencing problem in communication appeared to be highly influenced by the frequency of experiencing presentation. 3) As for a debate/discussion, the experienced, the female, and the outer-directed students appeared to present objection effectively. And the frequency of the subject breakaway was higher in the group of higher classes and the male group. And the male students appeared to experience more problems in communication than the female students do. 4) Those who were competent for the conversation appeared to be also competent for presentation or a debate/discussion. 주제어

The purpose of this study is to investigate the Korean elementary school children`s request style and the actual state of experiencing conflict in conversation using a questionnaire survey. A sample of 2589 children was obtained from elementary schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. For data analysis, frequency, mean, chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA, and Spearman`s correlation analysis were used. The major findings can be summarized as follows: (1) The request style is different according to grade, sex, and family type that the child belongs to. The children who belong to the higher classes, the female group, and the small family have tendency to present both the demand and the ground obviously more than others. And as the grade is higher, the children have tendency to talk in a slightly roundabout way. (2) Those questioned show a tendency to use certain style in request regardless of the companion or the state of conversation. (3) The frequency that the children experience conflict interrelates with the request style that they use. Particularly, the children who use the style presenting only the ground without the contents of demand are most likely to face conflict in conversation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of linguistic competence through the use of the adverbs co-occurred with the connective endings in the spoken Korean language corpus by age. And we will also test the possibility of the application of our findings to Korean Language Education for foreigners. In Korean, some adverbs necessarily co-occur with the connective endings (for ex., `만약`, `아무리`, `하도`, `가령` etc.). We found that the most adverbs, adopted in the research, appeared in the spoken language corpus except the adverb `설 령`. The adverbs such as `만약, 아무리, 하도` appeared most frequently than any other adverbs and in the early ages. The adverbs such as `만 일에, 비록, 가령, 설사` appeared very later. On the other hand these adverbs have different combination constraints with the connective endings. We analyzed the combination constraints of the adverb and the connective endings and so forth, based on the spoken language corpus. We expect that the results of this study might be applied to the Korean Language Education for foreigners, the description of Korean dictionary, and NLP(natural language process) etc. Specially, we proposed the list of the adverbs and the connective endings for the vocabulary education in International Korean Education.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the need to create aspectual roles. The `Measuring-out argument` which have functions to delimit situation, measure out the event. This corresponds to `aspectual roles`: [MEASURE], [PATH], [TERMINUS]. We discuss the aspectual roles, linking constraints, and the relationship between aspectual and thematic roles. [MEASURE], [PATH], [TERMINUS] are aspectual roles, and they are linked to syntactic argument according to the linking principle. [MEASURE] is linked to direct internal argument. [TERMINUS] is linked to direct internal argument, or to the adjunct which is added for bounded reading. In some cases [PATH] is explicitly represented, however, it is not if/when one argument is linked to [TERMINUS]. There are differences in thematic roles and aspectual roles, especially in the aspectual information. For instance, the linking of `Theme` and [MEASURE] are different according to certain circumstances. As we establish the aspectual roles, we can explain the aspectual function of argument, and we can relate the argument to semantic realities (aspectual roles). Aspectual roles make up two aspectual role grids: one being [[MEASURE]], the other being [[PATH], [TERMINUS]].

This study observed the reading theory and the change of reading ways, so examined the intellectual attitude and the change of interests of highbrows. The reading of purpose in the middle Chosun Dynasty was for the civil service examination and making the teaching of the sages. But realists pursued the truth and the pure pleasure with realistic interest. Till the middle Chosun Dynasty, they complied with a reading way of accepting of sages words. But Sungho school(성호학파) thought important of doubting objective actuality. Yunam school(연암학파) were aware of the changeability of characters and the ambiguity of language. So they emphasized on the inside of readers. Till the middle Chosun Dynasty, required reading tought the codes of ethics and diciplines. However, the late Chosun Dynasty intended open society. A lively reception the Collection of the last period of Myoung era and the early of Chung era and reading heat changed cultural climate into emphasizing on wide reading and the erudition. Through the Chosun Dynasty, the highbrows samely doubted, emphasized on emptiness, talked about practicalism, but their aspect were different. They had different points of view in what doubting, what empty. The later highbrows regards characters as living universal natare, doughted everything, so they brought distinct reading ways and attitudes. Moreover, they rediscovered the existence of friends, carried on negotiations with the outside, amassed riches, so it enlarged scope of reading and leavened reading ways.

『을병연행록』과 18세기 조선(朝鮮)의 중국(中國)읽기

This paper aims for clarifying the characteristics of Eulbyungyeonhaengnok, a record of Peking travel of Hong Dae Yong. Eulbyungyeonhaengnok is a great Peking travel itinerary of Hong Dae Yong who is said to be a pioneer of “Bukhak group”. It distinguishes itself by several aspects from ordinary itinerary, which are as follows. 1. Hong dae yong reviewed the usual practice of “Yeonhaeng” and make it clear to set up the purpose of Yeonhang as a laying a foundation of “Bukhak” 2. As an initial stage of foundation of “Bukhak”, He uses various way of reading China to grasp the facts and essence of China, such as A bird`s-eye view, Analysis, Contrast, Distinction, and Communication. `Bird`s-eye view` was used for verifying large scale of China, `Analysis` was for revealing a detailed system of China, and `Contrast` was for reviews of history on shifting of `Myung dynasty and Chung dynasty` as well as for prospects, and current situation of China. It also used for reviews on 18th century of Chosun. He used `distinction` as a method of criticizing the Chosun`s point of view that recognized entire China as a country of `ORANKE`- barbarian- by contrasting “Chinese heritage(中華)” as a cultural substances with “Chung” as a political substance. `Communication` was used to emphasize importance of the mutual understanding and interchange in many fields between China and Chosun, and he showed such an example by contacting many famous intellectuals in China. It served as major momentum for tradition of interchange of intellectuals between China and Chosun. 3. The method of Chinese-reading as indicated above was accepted to general method of `Bukhak-group`, and it contributed to try to convert discourse on China in 18th centry of Chosun. As shows above, Eulbyungyeonhaengnok is pioneering text that theorize `Bukhak` as well as excellent longest record of Peking travel.

허문일의 농민소설 연구 ―천도교와 아나키즘의 관계를 중심으로

In Later on 1920`s, a great many of theory and works of the peasant literature are published in korean literary world. This theory and works are announced with various background under purpose. The things which but Heo, Munil was emphasizing is barren point in the spot of a farm village reality which must have peasants. This was the meaning to recognize the independence for oneself peasant. But this is the behavior and part which is that time the national-reformism which have been known generally to be distinguished. Especially, the behavior which the antipathy for the owner of farmland to be exposed is the national-reformism in Heo, Munil`s works obviously was not. His fundamentalism which is based on thought of Choi, Je Woo is determined by reflecting. Therefore contentions to be deciding must be modified that Heo, Munil`s works is the position of the national-reformism The problem to be presenting is the relation of Heo, Munil and anarchism in this study. First of all, although once he was, Heo, Mun-Il has the career to participate in `Munyegwang` in 1930. And he had the career of a socialism activity after 1930. We consider the point same as this, We feel that he did an anarchist activity. With this, we feel that he is the anarchist at the same time as he is a religion of Chondokyo believer if you look into Heo, Munil`s work. Especially, a Ideal village construction movement and the anti-communist attention is the point to make him accept the anarchism easily. There is the reason of looking into the relation of the peasant novel and the anarchism a peasant literature research in the meantime simple to have. I wish through this research that the behavior same as this should change.

황순원의 「왕모래」에 나타난 욕망의 의미

The predominant goal of literature researches to decode meaning from within the literary work. Encountering a good piece of literary work makes research enjoyable. Hwang Sun-won`s `Wangmorae` is not placed in high importance in literary history and neither is this novel one of his representative works. However, it is meaningful in that it describes one generation so well in the form of fiction. That is to say, it reveals a ruined consciousness in the midst of war and also shows a completely destroyed interior human consciousness. Accordingly, it contains comprehensive meaning in terms of its capacity to detect human essence as well as understanding the human interior consciousness; it`s aesthetic structure, and how it develops as a novel are important from the aspect of desire. After we trace `Wangmorae`s interior world in his character, we can see the compactness of the inner view of humanity and the tragic meaning typical of 1950`s novels. A nine year old boy has to face with his father`s death and is also deserted by his unfilial mother. He stays with other families until he becomes seventeen. He seeks maternal affections badly and gets caught up in a kind of Oedipus complex. This improves our understanding of the inner human desire as well as the tragic elements of the 1950s. In a compact way, this work introduces various relationships between humans and reality, and between reality and the novel. `Wangmorae` is a comprehensive text covering the relationships between the war and the human interior consciousness, and at the same time deals with this Oedipus complex and the rite of passage from the aspect of interior consciousness and therefore it includes most of the elements related with 1950s`s novels. Accordingly, it summarises the characteristics of 1950 novels. In that sense this novel is significant as it is closely related to reality and sheds light on the history of novels.

황석영 소설에 나타난 이데올로기적 주체의 변화 양상 고찰

`Ideologic subjects` in Hwang Seok-young`s novels are playing roles as subjects who accept ideology or reveal the terror of ideology. However, Hwang Seok-young`s point of view to `ideologic subject` is changing from accepting ideologic subject in 「The Other Land」 to `post-ideologic subject` in 『Jang Gil San』, 『Very Old Garden』 and 『Guest』. This means that his view of the world is changing from modernity to post-ideology. Also `ideologic subjects` in Hwang Seok-young`s novels are changing `modernity` to `post-modernity`. However, tension between reality and Hwang Seok-young`s novels still remain beside of changing his point of view. For that reason, his works are adding property of Korean literature since 1960-1970. Dong-hyuk in 「The Other Land」, Ma Gam-dong and Unbu in 『Jang Gil San』, and Pammin in 『Shadow of Arms』are showing `critical ideologic subject`. On the other hand, John, Sang-ho, Sun-nam and Ichiro in 『Guest』 are showing `accepting ideologic subject`. `Post ideologic subjects` in Hwang Seok-young`s novels such as Jang Gil-san in 『Jang Gil San』, Oh hyoun-woo, Han Youn-hee and Lee Hee-su in 『Very Old Garden』 and uncle Some, Ryu Yo-sub, and ghost in 『Guest』are trying to overcome `ideologic subject`. In that reason, Hwang Seok-young`s novels are searching new theme of ideology by changing from `ideologic subject` to `post-ideologic subject`.

This study discusses female and sexual issues in novels at the time of Korean liberation from Japanese rule. It is highly significant that issues of `sexuality`, a comprehensive term for sex related with sexual behaviour, sexual phenomenon, sexual desire or sexual instinct, were widely embodied in literary discourse, especially, in times of liberation. `Female` who was examined within social and literary discourse at that time was shown with a transient mode, in order to position herself with a status either for dependence or autonomous subjectivity. However, the result of analyzing actual literary works proved that a female subject was evaluated as a whole subject through sexuality. Sexuality of female subject, that is sex, in times of liberation, was combining romantic, maternal, pleasurable and economic desires in a manner of `gradual expansion`, and approaching to a `genuine sex(or subjectivity)` of female, which was internalized within the society she belonged to. This is radical enough to be defined as `aberration` and `progressiveness`. To examine implications of such a phenomenon, female subjects harshly resisted against dualism of Chosun male whose interest was on great causes of liberation from Japanese oppression and of nation building, and whose hypocritical domination over female was imposed within patriarchal hierarchy. Female subjects resisted rather on these male subjects than on Japanese oppression, because males kept suppressing females after losing the country when they were practically in charge of it. Females hoped for a resolution of their suppressed history, to a certain extent, by abandoning the vanity of romantic love, and by using one`s body for economic gain. The fact that female as a beneficiary of economic profit from prostitution excluded male as `the other`, isolated or completely removed them, is an indication that potential outrage of the suppressed female was great. Ultimately, female subjects in times of liberation escaped from male-centered authoritarianism, dissolved family institution and weakened maternity ideology, by `strengthening` their sexuality, therefore they pioneered to cooperate with one another voluntarily and with solidarity, showing harsh antagonism against Chosun males who were helpless or coward to have a will to post-colonial future against Japanese colonial system. If it can be said that a female was made into `the other` in the `age of romantic love`, it can also be said that a male was made into `the other` in the `age of sexual love`. This is one of the characteristics in Korean society. Such attribute can always reappear as a form of oppressive power depending on progressive aspects of life, or as another form of resistance discourse depending on a `will to knowledge`.
