대학생 자녀와 부모의 의사소통 증진 방안 연구 -일상 대화 분석을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study was to examine everyday conversations between college students and their parents in an effort to seek ways of improving parent-child communication. In this study, how the selected college students and their parents perceived their mutual conversations at home was analyzed to look for any possible differences between the two, and the selected cases of daily conversations were analyzed to let them check their own conversations. As a result, the way that the parents and the children looked at their own family relations and mutual communication was not the same. When two families that were different from each other in characteristics were compared, the parents and child of the family that had a positive communication gave I-messages and carefully listened to each other. In contrast, the parents and child of the family that had a negative communication gave you-messages to each other, evaded their own responsibility and avoided talking to each other. After the parents and the children were informed about the findings of the study and their mutual differences of awareness, they got to realize what they hadn’t known and what’s wrong with themselves. And they told they would try to fix their own problems.

Purpose of this study is to analyze the status of speech communication field evaluation in communication ability of core competency evaluation and to draw improvement plans. To this end, it conducted a critical review on the NCS(National Competency Standards)-based core competency evaluation managed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor as well as on the status of core competency evaluation field managed by the Ministry of Education. On the basis of advanced researches related to theoretical background about listening and speaking evaluation and also about communication ability out of overseas core competency, it suggested following 5 improvement plans in speech communication field of core competency evaluation in South Korea; 1) application of detailed speech communication task linked to educational method; 2) defining the specific settings for communication schemes; 3) design of questions to which both task performing person and evaluation applicant agree; 4) development of integrated questions reflecting complex task status; and, 5) reflection of overall aspect of speech communication instead of simple information exchange.

Analysis of Structural Aspects in the Contents of “Hun-hwa” Practiced by Pre-service Teachers, with a Focus on the Characteristics of Value Oratory. Lee, Minhyoung. This study examines structural aspects in the contents of “Hun-hwa” practiced by pre-service teachers, by focusing on the characteristics of value oratory, which is a modern reconceptualization of Aristotle’s epideictic oratory. As a value oratory, “Hun-hwa” can be divided into either “vision presentation” or “discipline” according to the narrator’s intentions; the content of discourse structure can likewise be divided into different aspects. For example, the “Hun-hwa” of “vision presentation” can be divided into “deriving positive values”, “establishing positive values”, and “encouraging the practice of values”; the “Hun-hwa” of “discipline” can be divided into “presenting problematic behaviors”, “correcting problematic behaviors,” and “encouraging the practice of values”

This study aims to present communication maxims and specific strategies for interviewers to use in order to effectively communicate during job interviews. To date, studies on job interviews have focused on the interviewees´ experiences, with little attention paid to the interviewers´ communication skills. Data was collected through narrative interviews and analyzed using macro structures and the illocution hierarchy theory, a text-linguistic methodology, in order to ensure objectivity and validity. The results of this study produced six communication maxims: identifying information, cooperation, tact, extracting information, respecting personalities, and expression. Nineteen lower-level strategies were also produced. Finally, this study concludes with two recommendations. The first recommendation is to recognize the purpose of the job interview as not only as an applicant selection tool, but also as a communication space for the interviewer and the interviewee. The second recommendation is that the role of the interviewer should transition to one of a presenter who elicits information from applicants, rather than that of an investigator who scrutinizes details. These recommendations will facilitate a shift from interviewer-centered job interviews to applicant-centered job interviews.

역량 중심 교육과정에 대비한 국어과 "갈등 해결 교육 내용"의 비판적 고찰

This study focused on ‘conflict resolution skills’, which is one of the core competencies, and critically reviewed how these skills are covered in the current Korean language curriculum. Furthermore, this study aimed to discuss how “conflict resolution education content” in Korean language education must be covered in preparation for the switch to a competency-based curriculum. To this end, this study first reconceptualized conflict resolution skills from the perspective of Korean language education as based on the core competences by OECD (2005) and studies on Korea language curriculums. This study reviewed conflict resolution education content currently included in the Korean language curriculum. The review revealed the following negative aspects: (1) the conflict resolution education content in the Korean language curriculum is concentrated in the stage of middle school; (2) conflict resolution content is mostly segmented into ‘conversation’, ‘discussion’, and ‘debate’; (3) there is redundant detailed content in the same learning stage; and (4) content elements related to conflict resolution skills are either insufficient or biased toward one side. Based on the above, this study provided implications of Korean language education for conflict resolution education in preparation for a change to a competency-based curriculum.

The goal of this study is to examine the pragmatic properties of the spoken language final ending .janha and the role of intonation in the banmal style of women’s spontaneous speech. First, -janha plays various pragmatic functions based on the discourse structure in declarative sentences. It presents a premise or theme that leads the flow of discourse, or reveals the narrator’s attitude toward the listener or situation, such as arousal, reasoning, explanation, refutation, or complaint/criticism. Second, -janha implements pragmatic strateges by changing the structure of information delivery. Old information is related to the intention to “arouse” the sharing experience and accord with the discourse space while new information is used as a strategy to induce a response or agreement from the other party. Third, intonation contributes to the pragmatic function of -janha. It acts as a cohesion marker through “HL” and “LHL,” and reveals the narrator’s attitude toward the listener or situation through “H,” “LHL,” and “L:.” Due to its reciprocity and infirectness, the final ending -janha is very frequently used for smooth communication in face-to-face conversation. It is a spoken language final ending thar performs pragmatic functions by effectively using colloqual properties such and discourse flow, information structure, and intonation type.

This study discusses the results of an analysis of educational content for presentations in Korean speaking textbooks for academic purposes. The contents of seven textbooks were examined in terms of their syllabi and unit structure, learning contents and tasks, and whether or not their evaluation and feedback related to academic presentations meet certain criteria. Although some of the textbooks attempted to provide balanced contents for academic presentation education, it is nevertheless necessary to develop a comprehensive textbook that has a clear conceptualization of academic presentations. This, in turn, should assist students in understanding the overall procedure of academic presentations, and also aid them in generating ideas for their own presentations.
