초등학교 교사들의 교직 문화에 대한 지각

The purpose of the research is to clarify the differences of elementary teachers` perception about schooling culture by gender, by lengths of career, by status and by regions. Concrete research questioning for the study was as follows: First, what differences are there in the teachers` perceptions about educational philosophy? Second, what differences are there in the teachers` outlook on schooling philosophy? Third, what differences are there in the teachers` viewpoint on human relationship? Fourth, what differences are there in the teachers` attitude on personnel matters, educational reforming and personal connection (alummi, clan, district). In order to solve these research questions, 275 elementary school teachers in urban areas and another 120 teachers in rural areas in Kyungsangnamdo Province were collected with the response rate of 90.15 ; the research instrument consisted of 55 question items. The study for the data analysis applied F test, t test with using SPSS (Version 8.0) program. The results of the study obtained from the above-mentioned process were as follows: First, elementary school teachers are considered to have a high regard for education and human relations, and male teachers, managing teachers and teachers in farming and fishing areas can be said to have a relatively higher outlook on education. Second, elementary school teachers` perception about schools are at an ordinary level, and male teachers, teachers with longer careers, managing teachers and teachers in farming and fishing areas can be said to have a relatively higher outlook on schools. Third, as for elementary school teachers` interest in personnel matters and personal connection, male teachers, teachers with longer careers, managing teachers and teachers in farming and fishing areas can be said to have a relatively greater interest.

The purpose of this study was to find how to manage school financing system efficiently. To achieve the goals the concept, legal system, structure and actual situation of school finance were reviewed. Major findings are as follows: Firstly, the concept of school financing is complicated. Secondly, there are 6 accounting systems generating complicated and unclear works. Thirdly, bookkeeping is based on single entry and current cash, which causes to not having a whole information of school financing. Fourthly, the information getting from accounting is not on management but on finance. Without management information, it is difficult to know the efficiency of school financing. Fifthly, teachers who have responsibility for education would not participate in financing process. Sixthly, the evaluating process is not done well at school. To solve the problems mentined above following ideas are suggested. Firstly, the concept of public school financing is well defined and 6 accounting systems should be integrated into a system. Secondly, several bookkeeping methods such as double or generating based are considered to know school financing correctly. Thirdly, teachers schould be encouraged to participate in the process of school financing. Fourthly, the evaluating methods should be adopted in school financing.

I supose that school extra curricularactivities in korea are some problems in three points of view. One, there is in the conceptual confusion of school extra curricularactivities. Another, Individualization teaching in school extra curricularactivities operation does not working. and the other, when the school extra curricularactivities are operated, there is a lack of self-control in each school level is suitable to school features and community conditions. In these aspects, this thesis is studied to search the device to activate the school extra curricularactivities This study is concluded as follow, First, it is must be defined as the school extra curricularactivities is enlighten the students` personality, and it could be more important rather than intellectual curriculum. So, school extra curricularactivities is the curriculum to enlighten the students personality, not extra curriculum or outside curriculum in school education. Second, self-control in school extra curricularactivities must be entirely given to each school level, and The Ministry of Education must not control over the school, has to support and service to school more positively. And it is needed that school should be operated as open education system in order to invite a lecturer in local community or parents of students in the special field which teacher can`t teach. Third, The Ministry of Education has to appreciate the teachers` authority and expert knowledge. The Ministry of Education must widely support to the teachers with professional disposition are able to exhibit full to teach students in school extra curricularactivities teaching. Forth, the teachers` college must reinforce to teach students educational theory and teaching methods of extra curricularactivities and many things concern extra curricularactivities education.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the leadership effectiveness of women managers analying many studies, to transfer social perception on women managers, and to increase efficiency of women manpower. In order to achive the purpose of this study, Three areas of the study were established: 1) Male-female differences in leadship style; 2) Success and effectiveness of women leaders; and 3) Moderating effects of subordinates, task. Major findings from the study were as follows. Women were more likely to seek interpersonal success in groups, in contrast to men`s greater concern for being successful in the task. Women focus more on maintaining harmony, whereas men concentrate on the quality of the individual performance. Democratic women emphasized being helpful, affectionate, nurturing, open minded, and accepting blame; democratic men emphasized being mature, forceful, competent, utilitarian, analytical, and valuing people. But the differences between the sexes blur if one contrasts women and men who already have achived status ad leaders. In a majority of cases, differences between male and female leaders are more a matter of stereotyped expectations than actual fact. Although women managers behave the same way as their male counterparts and have the same effects on their groups, they are likely to be evaluated differently. Sex differences in leadership depend on the group and the situation. the sex of both the supervisor and the subordinate determine the group`s performance. However, when differences between the success and effectiveness of the leadership of men and women do occur, they may be due partly or fully to differences in other moderating factors, such as the men`s and women`s age, education, experience, level in the organization, and extent of professional training.

Yu Gil Jun thought that his `Seagy` theory completed during his studying in Japan and America, could helf accomplish social enlightment and strengthen the power of Chosun, the name of the most recent kingdom in Korea`s old times. So he tried to reform his country`s education necessary to realize his `Seagy` theory. His education-reforming theory basically differs from the traditional education system at those times, usually teaching Confucianism. The old system, the final goal of which was to pass the higher civil service exam, had a curriculum to justify its state-rank order. The purpose of his theory, however, was to make a new education system for a new rich country with a strong modernized army. The characteristics of Yu Gil Jun`s education reforms theory, for which especially analized his book, `sougyonmun`s` (the Essay on Western Country), are as follows; 1) to build an independent modern country, leveling up its people, enriching its government, and enlightening its society. 2) to divide education into two parts, daily education and academic education. The former teaches knowledges and skills necessary for life. The latter seeks to acquire truths of the nature. 3) to improve the quality of education, using many practical and adequate methods dependant upon how far students psychologically develop and accomplish their knowledges.
