항만 컨테이너터미널에서의 6시그마경영 도입에 관한 연구

Six-Sigma has been the most influential management innovation program since Motorola first invented in 1987 and its application has extended to non-manufacturing processes such as transactional process and R&D process. Some container terminals in Korea, they try to introduce and implement Six-Sigma projects to improve the efficiency of terminal operation. There are some differences in Six-Sigma implementation between manufacturing process and non-manufacturing process. In this paper, we propose an implementation procedure and framework for Six-Sigma project, which are suitable for container terminal in harbor. This paper also presents priority in Six-Sigma topics for container terminal, that is confirmed from a BB(black-belt) workshop outcome. We testified the efficiency of the proposed implementation procedure through an empirical case study for Six-Sigma projects in a container terminal.

실내수영장 천장 내 결로 억제에 관한 실험적 연구

This paper measured the temperature and the humidity of the air in the ceiling depending on the operation and non-operation of an air-conditioner and a ventilation system for ceilings only. It was found that: in case of the only air-conditioner on and ventilation off appropriate thermal environment was maintained in the swimming pool and in the ceiling; and in case of the air-conditioner off and the ventilation on the relative humidity in the ceiling was maintained under 62%, so it was concluded that dew condensation gives a no influence on the safety of the inside of the ceiling. In case of the air-conditioner off and the ventilation off the relative humidity of the air in the ceiling was increased to about 78%. In this paper the quantity of energy consumption, was also measured depending on the operation of the air-conditioner and the ventilation system. It was found that the energy consumed for the operation of the air-conditioner per hour was about 625 times greater than that of the ventilation system.

The selection of defense acquisition in Korea is very important and critical problems. To choose the suppliers for defense acquisition, the bidding system that consists of the account and technical part is used. However, this system has lots of problems in defense industries. This paper is to find and improve the problems of the current bidding system for defense acquisition.

The green logistics is the one of hot issues in industry and academy. The Korean literature on the green logistics is classified on the basis of the earlier review research that are the importance, green design, green manufacturing, reverse logistics and waste management. It is also classified on the basis of used methodology including mathematical programming, meta heuristics, simulation and survey. And then the interpretation and comparison with international review papers are suggested. At last, we found that the green operations and waste management are needed to research more.

In this paper, a new SPC technique using regression control chart to monitor the performance of processes with learning phenomenon that refers the improved efficiency obtained from repetition of a production operation is proposed and also illustrated with a case study, the interior painting process of aero-transportation equipments as Six Sigma project of "A" company.

The main purpose of the study is to develope `PSMS(Progress Speed Management System)`, which is directly applicable tools for consistency per level and objective evaluation of the performance. PSMS can accomplish the goal alignment based on WBS and evaluate the project teams Which has different progress each by each by using the formula, `Progress=Rate of Accomplishment÷Rate of Time progress`.

To solve complex problems scattered in production and management areas, it is necessary to view relations among the problems in system`s standpoint. Thus, the systematic approach is emphasized in TOC (Theory of Constraints). Thinking process (TP) of TOC is adequate to understand the tangled problems with cause and effect relations. After obtaining undesirable effect (UDE) lists through the interview of top decision maker, current reality tree (CRT) should be drawn to find what effect is a source of the other effects. And then solutions are found using solver`s intuition with the conflict resolution diagram (CRD). This study proposes that an inventive method can be used to find solutions without using intuition. Recently, TRIZ (Russian abbreviation for Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) receives much attention to solve problem inventively and scientifically. In this study, the contradiction matrix and 40 inventive principles are used to overcome the technological contradiction. Lastly, an example for an actual company is also introduced to verify the procedure which comprises TP of TOC and TRIZ steps.

환기방식에 따른 휘발성유기화합물질의 실내 거동 특성

This paper presents a numerical simulation for the behavior of volatile organic compound(VOC) from building material and their diffusion in various slot ventilated room by a computational fluid dynamics. A polypropylene styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR) floor plate is chosen as the emission source of VOC. This study investigates spatial concentration distributions and time history of room-averaged VOC concentration for four ventilation systems. The results of this study shows that for ten-days calculation room averaged VOC concentrations for four cases are quite different. And the results indicate that displacement ventilation system are more effective to remove VOC in a room than mixing ventilation system.

The present study carried with an analysis of the effects that might be exercised upon management environment when quality management activities are introduced and factors of such activities are effectively performed. It was also investigated in this study if performances of management, customer and technological innovation could be improved depending on the extent factors of quality management activities are performed. From the analysis, it was discovered that, first, the management environment in which small and medium enterprises are situated has influence upon the extent their quality management activities are performed. In order to increase the performance of quality management activities, small and medium enterprises are thus needed to make efforts to have insight upon management environment. Second, it was also made clear from the analysis that the extent of quality management activities has influence on the performances of management, customer and technological innovation. It is therefore suggested for small and medium enterprises to control factors such as human resources management, process management, utilization of quality related information, establishment of quality management plans, etc. as a measure to intensify their performances of management, customer and technological innovation by means of quality management activities.

태양광발전소의 효율적 살수설비 운용방식

Yield models for photovoltaic(PV) modules are used for calculating the electric power of mono-Si modules and compared by one and half year`s operating data of a large solar PV power plant. Furthermore a regression model for sprinkling effects to lower the temperature of modules is established and efficient operating policy of sprinkling facility employing the regression and recommended yield models is proposed and discussed.
