반도체 조립공정에서 공정 FMEA의 평가기준에 대한 연구

This paper presents assessment criteria for Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) for assembly process in semiconductor. In this paper, we analyzed the major issues when evaluating RPN (risk priority ranks) evaluation of FMEA, the RPN evaluation criteria were redefined. This criterion is applied to the LED and semiconductor assembly process and effectiveness is verified. The main problem when evaluating RPN ratings did not apply to kind of products. Evaluation criteria observed ambiguity between evaluators. When assessing the seriousness, existing standards were analyzed and divided into 10 levels. The ratings were redefined. Occurs, in order to improve the problem evaluation were considered to reduce the error evaluation based on the details of the existing items. Detection evaluation problem, in order to improve the ambiguity of the grading was separated on the details of the existing entries.

This paper presents an EMQ model which determines an optimal production quantity in an unreliable machine. A machine is subject to a random failure from an in-control state to an out-of-control state and thus produces some proportion of defective items. It is assumed that a sensor, which is also failure prone, is attached to the machine to monitor the machine continuously and detects its state promptly. It is discussed how to determine EMQ when the time between failures of a machine as well as a sensor is exponentially distributed. Through a numerical experiment, the behavior of the proposed model is investigated, and variations of an EMQ depending on the performance of the sensor are also examined.

In a screening inspection, all of the items are subject to acceptance inspection. If an item fails to meet the predetermined specification limits, it is rejected. In this research, we consider the economic model for determining the most profitable initial process mean and the length of resetting cycle in a tool-wear process in which there is a linear shift in the process mean. Profit models are constructed which involve selling price, scrap, resetting, production, and inspection costs when the rates of process mean shift are constant and uniformly distributed, respectively. Assuming that the quality characteristic of interest is normally distributed, the optimum initial process mean and the length of resetting cycle are jointly obtained by maximizing the expected profit per unit time. An illustrative example from tube-rolling process is given and numerical studies are performed.

A self-monitoring blood glucose sensor is a kind of in vitro diagnostic medical devices which converts electrical signal to glucose. Performance and stability testing are conducted primarily to evaluate glucose sensors. Stability testing determines shelf-life of glucose sensors, which is mainly performed accelerated testing. Previous stability testing has been done only using temperature condition. In this study, we add humidity condition in order to reduce testing time. As a result, in the case of glucose sensors of manufacturer A, we can show accelerating temperature and humidity was degradated faster than accelerating temperature only. On the other hand, however, glucose sensors of manufacturer B degradated rapidly in temperature condition. We found that degradation pattern changes, depending on the type of glucose sensors` enzyme and intermediate.

Since the growth of clouding services, information in various forms is stored as a link, and information search and managing has become a critical factor with the exponentially increasing amount of information under the megatrend environment. Especially, information visualization technology, which provides users with graphic interface of information relationship, is considered as an emerging technology that can cope with current information environment. This paper examines a prototype of a social service platform based on the information visualization technology which can be applied to the academic field.

Dirty Dozen 기법에 의한 한국공군의 정비실수 사례분석

More than one hundred years have passed since the success of powered flight, and most of technical problems related with flight have overcome. However, still aircraft accidents occur. Safety is the most important thing prior to the flight, but sometimes, some accidents have happened by the minor mistake caused by the ground man. In this study, from the accident cases in ROKAF(Republic Of Korea Air Force), the causes of accidents due to the ground man`s mistake are analyzed using the Dirty Dozen method suggested by the FAA(Federal Aviation Administration). The results show that the "Complacency" and the "Lack of knowledge" are major factor on the accidents due to the ground man`s mistake.

The layout of switch button was addressed in the many previous studies. The most of them was related with the switch buttons controlled by human hands or fingers. This study addressed the layout of switch button that is controlled by the human foot. Human performance (e.g. movement time and error rate) was measured according to the number of button and the layout pattern. The human performance was decreased with increase of the number of button. The number of button which can be recommended was less than 4buttons in this study. On the other hand, it has been reported that foot movement rotating foot ankle is more efficient than foot movement straightly moving foot itself. However, the button layout leading rotating foot ankle was not significantly superior to the other button layouts in this study.

In order to conduct industry-academic collaboration, universities must secure and train professional managers, and establish evaluation and feedback process to optimize its effectiveness. Factors to be considered to measure and monitor managers` activities are information gathering capability, networking, communication, public relations, enterprise support, matching of seeds and needs, co-research, and application of technology. In addition, scientific-technical outcome, economic outcome, and social-spreading effects can be thought as evaluation factors to promote effectiveness and efficiency of the outcomes. The focus of this paper is the application of the performance evaluation model on the industry-academic collaboration managers.
