예비위험분석 방법론을 적용한 철도 SEI에 관한 연구

This study describes the results of Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) performed for Train Control System (TCS) of Honam KTX Line. PHA is performed to identify hazards at system level based on the risk-based approach followed by IEC 61508 and other relevant international standards. The hazards are firstly classified by the operational functions of railway system proposed by AEIF (The European Association for Railway Interoperability). Then, the hazards are identified in more detail according to the function of TCS in the process of the railway operation. In doing this, the relevant equipment among TCS are identified. The result shows that PHA can be used to demonstrate which hazard could be expected and which consequences could occur in the process of railway operation as the result of their functional failure(s). This way of description is a starting point for an operation or technical realization demanding TCS. In addition, the result can be used for allocating Safety Integrity Level (Sn") for each subsystem composing TCS and for generating any safety requirements that might not be taken into account in the system requirements.

This paper addresses the retrieval batch size which the bi -directional multi -rack carousel system can be feasible. Each rack of the carousel system turns clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. The items that customers order are retrieved from the bins of the carousel with batch size. The mathematical model is formulated to represent the rotary travel distance and the retrieval lead time for retrieval batch size in an bi -directional carousel system. The rotary travel distance is the distance which the carousel system rotates for retrieval of all items included in a batch. The retrieval lead time is the time interval from retrieval starting time to retrieval finishing time for retrieval of all items included in a batch. The retrieval batch size that the carousel system can be feasible is obtained. A numerical example is shown to explain the solution procedure. The rotary travel distance and retrieval lead time are obtained through simulation approach in a numerical example.

The paper written by Hu et a1.[3], which deals with estimating a cycle time for completing an operation in a new type of AS/RS, is considered as a pioneer work in the field of Split Platform-AS/RS to handle heavy loads such as containers. It is often referred to following researches which aim at extensive applications of SP-AS/RS in practise. Nevertheless, the paper has some errors in the mathematical expression, and has space to improve the method to conduct sensitivity analysis on major variables. In this paper, these two issues will be treated.

제조업에서 업무상사고 사망과 재해율 예측에 관한 연구

The evaluation of the industrial accident rate and fatal accident rate is very important in order to prevent the accidents in the industry fields systematically. This paper considers forecasting of the accident rate and fatal accident rate through quantitative time serious analysis methods in manufacturing industry. Therefore, this paper describes the optimal accident rate and fatal accident rate through minimization the sum of square errors (SSE) with existing accident rate data in manufacturing industry. In this paper, MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class) software of Visual Studio 2008 was used to predict the accident rate and the fatal accident rate. In the case of the final analysis results, the values to minimize SSE are 0.0647 and 0.0575 in the accident rate and fatal accident rate, respectively. Especially, the auto-regressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model and regression model are ideally applied, respectively. Finally, the results of this paper provide decisive information in order to prevent industrial accidents in manufacturing industry very easily.

This study deals with the joint replenishment problem in a supply chain. This problem includes in selecting any suppliers offering different quantity discounts as well as in determining the joint replenishment schedules and the outbound delivery schedules of a warehouse. The objective is to minimize the total relevant cost which is composed of the sum of major and minor ordering costs, inventory holding costs and outbound transportation costs of a warehouse and inventory holding costs of retailers. The mathematical model and the hybrid genetic algorithm are proposed to solve this problem.

Chronic disease patients are considerably increasing because of population aging. To manage chronic disease patients efficiently, six sigma was applied to patient management process. Using this improved process, useful information for treatment, cautions for medication, instructions, prescription and diagnosis details are systemically provided to patients and sent SMS or Email reminders to them when they needs to revisit hospital.

Recently, new model for the disaster scene was proposed to take the advantage of the spatial information. In this investigation, WebGIS system for the prototype of fire vulnerable facilities was developed to identify the interfering facilities for the fire suppression activities and to share the information. Remembering and managing the fire vulnerable place require knowledge based know-how and local veteran, which necessary to avoid the mistake of initial response. The service function related with the fire vulnerable facilities was developed for effectively release the information with using the computer system of the information manager. Availability of the spatial information and online service developed using WebGIS for the improve and management of fire vulnerable facilities provide advanced important fire fighting information and greatly improve the fire fighting golden time. The fire fighting information provided by WebGIS improves the fire suppression activities and reduces the fire suppression time. Utilization of the spatial information developed in this study directly affects the fire suppression golden time.

인지성향상을 위한 계기판설계에 관한 연구

In this paper, we study the instrument panel design of excavator considering the improvement of cognition. The instrument panel provide important information to driver concerning about safe operation and play an important role to grasp the driving situation information quickly and accurately taking into account the driver`s visibility. Therefore, the cognition process based on instrument panel is important for not only the safety of operation also working efficiency. On the other hand, it shows that the effectively designed device reduce the worker`s errors and help to overcome the complexity of a dynamic system. It is very important issue for designer what kind of information should be provided and how to visualize and layout it within a limited area of panel via interface in designing the effective visual information display device. In this paper, we propose the design guide lines of instrument panel for the purpose of cognition improvement based on the result of several experiment concerned about variety information through the instrument panel.

The criterion of success on SCM for manufacturing companies IS absolutely depend on that the production departments execute their line followed by the production plan itself from APS FP system. Therefore it is very important how we design the FP system architecture and the way of execution at production line. The main reason of the difference of SCM operation level between SET and Material Divisions is whether the design of FP system is based on the production line environment or not and FP production plan works at the production line or not. This research focuses on the methodology to set up SCM Planning System for Semiconductor and LCD manufacturing companies comparing to SET Electronics manufacturing companies.
