액체 분무의 벽면 충돌분무에 의한 액적 비산

벽면에 충돌하는 액체 분무의 충돌 기동과 액적 비산에 관하 여 실험을 봉하여 조사하였다, 액체 분무는 홀노즐에 의해 직경 40mm의 충돌판에 분사하게 된다. 액체 분무는 반경방향으로 퍼져나가 5개의 영역으로 분류되어 나타내게 된다. 난류 혹은 층류 분무의 경우, 충돌판에 충돌한 후 두꺼운 액막을 형성하게 되며, 이러한 상태에서 충돌하는 분무의 비산량은 매우 적으며 충돌 거리에 영향을 받지 않는다. 한편, 파동이 있는 분무의 충돌은 수력도약(Hydraulic jump)과 함께 반경방향으로 엷은 액막을 형성하게 되며 비산율도 증가하게 된다. 액체분무의 초속도가 중가하면 비산율도 증가하게 된다. 분열이 일어난 후에 충돌하는 파동 분무의 비산율은 분열이 일어나기 전에 비해 약 2~3 배 정도 크게 나타난다. 비산율은 웨버수(Weber number)를 이용하여 요약할 수가 있다.

This study investigates actual conditions and awareness of employees female apparel shops within department store in Seoul area. Investigating the actual conditions of the lighting indicated that the employees thought that the lighting charged much expenses to them, and the effort to improve the efficiency of current lighting was insufficient for lack of en expert knowledge on the lighting. The average space size of apparel shops were 11.7평, the light source was most frequently used fluorescent lamp and halogen lamp. The illuminance was the most highest nearby wall display (average 1089 lx), and nearby hanger (average 1075 lx).

감온액정을 이용한 층류유동의 속도장에 관한 실험적 연구

An experimental investigation was performed to study the characteristics of laminar water flow in a horizontal circular tube by using liquid crystal. A simultaneous measurement technique has been employed to measure the velocity field in a two-dimensional cross section of fluid flow. This study found the velocity distributions for Re = 1,594~2,510 along longitudinal sections and the results appear to be physically reasonable. To determine some characteristics of the laminar flow, 2D PIV technique is employed for velocity measurement by using liquid crystal in water. The experimental rig was manufactured from an acryle tube. The test tube diameter of 25mm, and a length of 1200mm. The used algorithm is the gray level cross―correlation method by using Kimura et al. in 1986.

플라즈마 영상장치의 채널 사이에 놓인 전자모듈의 자연대류 열전달 해석

The heat transfer characteristics of a plasma display panel has been investigated for cooling an electronic module. Hence, a two dimensional turbulent model was developed to predict the temperatures of the panel and module. The heat conduction was solved for the material region. To consider the mixed convection at the solid-fluid interfaces between the air and the panel and module, the energy equation was solved simultaneously. When the electronic module stands face to face with the panel, the temperatures of panel and module are lower than other arrangement due to the chimney effect. However, the gap between the panel and module does not affect significantly the maximum temperature when the aspect ratio is less than 0.1. To maintain the maximum temperature of the module under a certain limit, the passage of air should be well designed by the optimal layout of electronic modules which have different heat emission.

Viscous flows around a cooling tower fan with sweep are numerically investigated. The Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation are solved in the flow domain. The Reynolds stresses are model led using the k-ε turbulence model. The governing equations are discretized with the Finite Volume Method. The pressure and the velocity are linked with the SIMPLE algorithms Flow and pressure characteristics around the fan are investigated. The pressure sharply increases through the fan. Pressure variations on the pressure and suction sides of the fan are well represened in the calculations. The flow streamlines in the blade passage are nearly parallel to the blade.

신경망 기반 Robust ICA에 의한 은닉신호의 분리

This paper proposes a separation of mixed signals by using the robust independent component analysis(HICA) based on neural networks. RICA is based on the temporal correlations and the second order statistics of signal. This method e is applied for improving the analysis rate and speed in which the sources have very small or zero kurtosis. The proposed method has been applied for separating the 10 mixed finger prints of 256x256-pixel and the 4 mixed images of 512x512-pixel, respectively. The simulation results show that RICA has the separating rate and speed better than those using the conventional FP algorithm based on Newton method.

양방향 2차로도로의 기하구조에 따른 서비스수준 분석에 관한 연구

양방향 2차로 도로에서는 보다 효율적으로 운영하고 도로의 안전성을 도모하기 위하여 오르막 차로 및 양보차로 추월차로 등의 부가차로를 설치하고 있다. 이러한 부가차로 효율성의 비교ㆍ분석을 통한 연구에 의하여 기존의 도로를 효율적으로 운영하는 방안이 제시되어야 된다. 본 연구에서는 이리한 부가차로 중 추월차로 및 양보차로가 포함된 구간을 조사하여 기하구조에 따른 교통류 특성을 분석하고 각 구간별로 서비스 수준분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. (1)각 기하구조별로 지점속도와 통행속도를 분석한 결과 지점속도는 통행속도보다 조사지점의 기하구조에 의한 영향을 많이 받아 변동이 심한 것을 알 수 있었으며, 통행속도는 그 기하구조에 따른 교통류의 특성을 잘 반영하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. (2) 차량별 지점속도의 비교ㆍ분석에서는 현재 차량성능의 진보로 인하여 조사구간의 설계속도에 반해 중차량 및 버스-트럭, 승용에 대한 차량별 속도차이가 거의 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 기존의 중차량에 대한 보정은 현장제한속도에 대하여 감안되어야 된다고 판단된다. (3) 모의실험모형과 현장조사에 의한 교통류특성을 비교해 보았을 때, 시뮬레이션은 도로의 전구간에 대한 결과는 잘 반영하고 있으나 짧은 구간에 대하여 교통류의 연속성을 파악하기에는 부족하다고 판단된다. (4) 추월가능 구간과 양보차로구간의 효율성을 비교해 보면, 추월율에서 양보차로구간이 추월가능구간보다 22.5%나 높게 나왔으며 총지체비교에서는 추월가능구간보다 5.56sec/h의 지체감소를 보이고 있다. 서비스 수준분석에서는 같은 C의 수준을 보이고 있으나 양보차로의 영향으로 양보차로 후구간의 서비스 수준이 A까지 상향되었다. 따라서 대향교통류의 영향을 받는 추월차로의 확보보다는 효율성이 좋은 양보차로구간의 보급이 많아야 되겠다.

선삭시 미스트 발생특성에 미치는 절삭변수의 영향

The presence of cutting fluid for cutting tool and workpiece leads a temperature decrease, and reduces tool wear and residual stress. Moreover, it disposes chips from cutting area, and reduces thermal distortion. However, in manufacturing, cutting fluid used in cutting process is undesirable for both human and environmental aspect. Also, it's not economic for cutting cost. This paper studied experimentally the effects of cutting parameters on the characteristics of mist generation in turning. The results of experiment are as follows: 1) The more severe cutting conditions, the more mist generate, 2) The ratio of weight concentrations of cutting fluid nearly have no an effect on the amounts of mist generation 3) The size of SMD is not affected by cutting parameters.

기어형 높이 조절식 맨홀 개발

There are a lot of manholes such as for water supply, sewage, telecommunication cable, traffic sign, electricity supply, and rainwater, etc. Conventional manholes installed on a road are impossible to adjust height, so that they should be entirely excavated to reinstall or repair. This entire excavation of a manhole causes too much time- consuming work, waste of resources, and obstruction of traffic. In this study, in order to solve the above mentioned problems, a cover, outer and inner parts of a manhole are integrated by gear-shaped parts located between outer and inner parts of a manhole. Mechanical design is performed to determine dimension of gear-shaped parts by Taguchi orthogonal array table. Cast molds for a gear-shaped manhole are also manufactured.

증기 가열 드럼 저널부의 결함 검출에 대한 실험적 연구

Recently, in the food, paper, steel and plastic industries, plate or sheet type products have been produced by the rolling drum. Steam heating drums are introduced into plastic products facilities in order to keep the density, microstructure,and strength of material uniformly. The drum journal can not help being concentrated by stresses due to the bending and torsion. Especially the drum, heated by high pressure steam, might be exposed in the steam leakage accident. First of all, the stresses on the steam drum journal are to be analyzed, and a case study proper to the subject was performed with a scraped journal, in order to investigate the failure characteristics as well as the initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks, and most probable circumstances of crack initiation. As the result of this study, it is suggested that newly installed drum journal be thoroughly inspected at the next periodic maintenance intervals for evidence of cracking, the microstructure examination and hardness measurements to prevent steam drum from the failure accident.
