This research investigates the current testing systems for Elementary English Conversation Instructor Selection Test and attempts to suggest some ways in which the testing system can be revised and bettered. To this end, it analyzes the systems, the methods, and the components of the Test, and surveys elementary English teachers (200) and elementary English teachers instructors (201) with the questionnaire on the testing systems of the Test including the 1st step of applicant specifications, the 2nd step of the teaching-learning performance test, and the interview test. On the bases of the analyses of the survey and the reviews of the theoretical studies of the classroom assessment tool for Teaching English in English (TEE), it recommends some alternative ways to revise the Test involved in the applicant``s qualification criteria, the test method facets, and the test specification.
