The purpose of this paper is to submit a proposal for teaching Japanese conversation methods that are more natural and practical with zero particle and particle omission in JSL (Japanese as a second language) classes in Korea. Despite the fact that the zero particle has its own purpose and role in Japanese conversation, there are neither adequate teaching tools nor proper texts. As a brand?new teaching aid, this paper proposes the use of SNS and comics; "written language imaged spoken" and "written language reminds spoken." Because these texts are easy to touch and popular among students, this method is practical and effective. However zero particle and particle omission often occur in Korean?speakers and those who use Korean JSL as their mother tongue. In addition, more particle usage was found in their Japanese. For more effective acquirement and proper Japanese conversation skills, this paper makes clear that the adequate treatment of zero particle and particle omission in Japanese conversation is required in JSL classes in Korea.
