Yesenin`s poem "Good-bye, my friend, good-bye... " ? at all the will; the author doesn`t "assume" future event doesn`t give unambiguous estimates to the action, doesn`t dictate and doesn`t order, there are no household realities and "orders", usual in that case, instructions on "fault", "responsible"; there is no frequency imperativeness when leaving the life gives moral estimates to the fact of the future fulfillment or warns other persons against similar mistakes; there is no ascertaining of future act, in fact, even. It less all poem on death, this poem on life and death. Yesenin`s poem finds meanings "threshold" when the lyrical hero stopped only for a moment before a long journey in some even an anticipation of important and formidable travel which will end with return and a meeting. The last two lines where, actually, the death also is mentioned, to some extent, aren`t determined in any way by a real fatal act: they contain some syllogism, in a certain sort, a look of "game by words", akin to aphorisms. Deep and versatile cultural contexts and meanings of this text also in many respects mark it as mythological, symbolical, ambivalent, game and possessing the multivector coding; the implitsitny sense of the text of the poet is dynamic model (from a flirtation with death before fight with it), opportunity opening more likely, than definiteness. And only the fatal final which has followed later the smallest time after creation of this poem, that gave to Sergey Yesenin`s text "limit sense" which forever imposed an interpretative frame on reading and reception of this work.
