Performance is concerned about all aspects of the communicative act between human beings. Especially, oral performance is considered as one of ways of literature enjoyment because it uses the traits of oral language and the action related with it, and because it could realizes dramatic communication. The traits of oral language inclide pitch, loudness, length, speed, continuation, timbre, pause of speech. Oral performance focuses on speaking. Speaking is the beginning of children`s subjective activity of language, though listening comes before speaking. With speaking children experience enjoying literature. Oral performance is the integrative language activity in that it includes the literature enjoyment through reading and writing. The literature enjoyment through oral performance consists of `reading aloud`, `story telling` and `recitation`. Reading aloud is reading as speaking. Reading aloud properly requires, first, to analyze the traits of written text according to the stream of emotion, and second, to search for how to structure the emotion. Story telling is making story and speaking it dramatically. Story telling needs strategies which emphasize the turnning or reversing points of events in the story. Recitation exaggerates oral language, speaking it like a song. Exaggerated oral language can carry emotion to audiences effectively, attracting them to reciters.
