『구운몽』의 형식과 주제에 대한 역사적 고찰

The objective of this thesis is to study on the form and subject of Guunmong (九雲夢)from the historical viewpoint. Specially this thesis reply to following the question; What is that Guunmong put in question? Why did Guunmong choose daydream story? What is reason for writing this novel in the late 17th century? The conclusion of this study is this; Particulariy using dream motif’ Guunmong represented an unconscious desire and sexual fantasy of author and his contemporary subjects,and reflected the phallic desire which the patriarchal ideology moved.

This paper aims at identifying the phase of three versions of Guwunmcmg」by philological study. There are three different pedigrees of 「Guwunmong」version. The pedigree of NAV are included the NA manuscript, Ulsa version, and Gaehae version. And the pedigree of NBV are included the NB manuscript and SUV (version in Seoul University library). After minute collations, there is not any special relations between NAV (Nojon A version) and NBV(Nojon B version). Based on 「Guwunmong」written in Korean. NBV and NAV are translated separately, After collating with three versions, I concluded that NBV is close the original work. The genera] characteristics of NAV are expatiating and amending, and those of NBV are simple and accurate. So, it is adequate that She researchers who are going to study the original work of 「Guwunmong」 have to choose the NBV as the research text and the persons who are going to study the acceptance history of 「Guwunmong」have to select the NAV as the text.

비교 문학적 측면에서의 『구운몽』 창작과 소설사적 의미

Even if the study on the 「Guwunniong」 are going on diverse sides, the comparative study on 「Guwunmong」are confronted by the limitation which nothing left to compare with. So we have to switchover the way of comparative study. Until now, we just compared the subject matters of 「Guwunmong」 with those of Chinese literature. Now we have to find out the similar types of 「Guwunmong」 and compare each other. I suggest that 「Guwunmong」 should be compared with the sexy novels which came from the late Ming dynasty to the early Qing dynasty, especially 「Yookpodan」 and 「Gonggongwhan」. By comparing with the sexy novels, I find out the fact that is the variation of subject on sexy novels. This means that even though Kim Man Jong borrowed the materials of 「Guwunmong」, he accomplished the variation of subject as the substantial Korean novel. And 「Guwunmong」affected a lot of long Korean old novel, for example, a moral sense, a honor of the family’ and happy ending plot etc. So we consider the originality of 「Guwunmong」 and the meaning of 「Guwunmong」, the outstanding work in Korean old novel history.

This paper is to examine inter-textual relationship between two Gu Wun Mong written by Kim Man ― Jung, a writer in latter half of 17c and by Choi In-Hun, a novelist in 1960s. Choi In―Hun’s Gu Wun Mong is not a parodied novel of Kim’s work but a creative work, with which the writer tries to transcend the limit of modernistic realism by using of Buddhistic thought and fantastic dream mode implied in Kim’s Gu Wun Mong, In Choi’s Gu Wun Mong, Buddhistic thoughts serve not only to present metaphysical ideas but also to examine the ethics of idividuals in social relations. The main theme of Choi’s novels is the interrelative- imcompatible relationship between individuals and society, which derives from the Buddhistic thoughts concerning the nirvana of individuals in prat tyasamutp da(緣起法). Moreover, the fantasic motifs in Choi's work such as transformation of time and space, pan-determinism and metamorphose or division of personality derive from the fantastic-deam(幻夢) narrative based on Buddhistic imagination. Choi In-Hun poses an essential question on the discrimination between the real and the fantastic, reality and fictionalify by creating the fantasic-dream narravie based on Buddhistic thoughts in modem ways.

This article analyses the North Korean novel - Han Jawidanwon -ui Unmyung’ (The Destiny of A Self-reliant Soldier),and focuses on the plot as ‘maturing plot’ in which the life of the protagonist of the novel - Gapryong - is viewed as a process of his becoming an autonomous communist, as well as a symbol or an archetype of North Korean communism. In being transformed from a naive and reluctant man into an active soldier through his participation in the anti-Japanese struggle against Japanese colonial oppression and exploitation, Gapryong illustrates how an average man can come to typify "communist humanity, and, further, the achievement of communist revolution. As an embodiment of communist solidarity, proletarianism, and revolutionary struggle, he is a 'new human’ as envisioned by the North Korean communist dictator Kim Il ―sung. Gapryong1 s life illustrates how the North Korean Communist Party has succeeded in disciplining the nation’s people and instilling in term a devotion to the communist revolution, a dedication to building a communist state, and an unswerving determination in their struggle against Japanese colonialism.

한국인의 가치관과 윤리의식 연구 -조정래의 「태백산맥」을 중심으로

This thesis aims to search Korean's sense of value and consciousness of moral by analysing Cho jung lae’s novel Taebaksanmak. There are five types of figures in the novel. For example 1. a conservative right- wing person, 2. people, 3. a reformative left wing person, 4, a reformative progressive person, 5. a conservative conscientious person. Cho focused on the problem of class by describing 1 and 3, and the problem of a nationality for establishing modem unified country by 3, 4 and 5. The conflict of the poor and the rich is a main axis to turn narration. In case this private dimension extends to a national one, the novel matters unification of a divided country. Thus, by this work which bases its narrational development on dialectic unify of private and nationality, Cho criticizes fetishism of conservative right-wing people who are governing class in 40s and 50s and proves that this value prevents unification of South and North. But it does not mean that the value of reformative left -wing people who emphasize the purity of revolution and goal to construct socialism is superior to that. Their practice is not for man but for system which is a dogma to subordinate human. Cho would find affirmative moral value of Korean in conservative conscientious people who show mature humanity and reformative progressive people who pursuit harmony of nation and value of co-existence by their critical intelligence. Especially Cho takes an attention to people’s potential power which is revealed when their hope to live in equality is blocked.

전후 모더니즘 문학론에서 서구사조의 수용

This paper aims to look into the context of the history of criticism to the theory of literature of Korean modernism in the post―war period,the 1950s. At post-war Korean literature, logic and rational judgement to the reality was cut off due to the war,and human original free type was limited by emotion and feeling. Critics uncertain at their prospect due to chaotic condition after war could not come to secure vertical continuity to history,so have interest in modernism stressing horizontal contmpo-rariness. Modernism has its own movement charac-teristics it can not be provided as one prototype and spirit of negating the reality,so this naturally came to meet with the then critics consciousness. In other words, in the contemporary circumstances difficult to understand, literal-ary men had to choose modernism. The introduction of western thought supporting the post-war modernistic literature was attempted in many aspects. As world sentimentality after the world war was mixed with Korean situation as the post-war devastating condition, exist- entialism under the consciousness trying to participating at world universality. The acceptance of new criticism as the substantial critical method of modernism has come to embody the realization of modernism in a critical method. Ignoring the external condition os literature and focusing on the internal aesthetics of literature can be said to actualize the features of modernism. Also then times was considered to be the condition not to continue literary continuity, such method of literary criticism can be said to make possible the methodological realization of modernistic criticism. The post-war modernistic theory of literature was that corresponding to the concrete reality. Under the circumstances that the free passage of ideology was blocked,there was no way to choose modernism. Noting modernism manifests itself differently according to circumstances,it is thought to be a milestone to re -consider the stream of history of criticism after the 1950s. Also this work is certification of the substance taking the place of ideology in criticism in the 1950s, and exploration to the the seismic center of critical process divided in the 1960s.

Tragedy is not a pessimistic view of the world, but it is a contemplative attitude about tragedy in the world, and it is a will to conquer that tragedy. Through the process, tragedy can attain to maturity. Hwang Dong-gyue has make a form of theme, ‘ Looking into the existence through a death’,in 「Biga」 and 「Pungjang」 stories. Two stories make the forms a view of the world, the westernㆍrational view and orientalㆍcontemplative view. At he same time, these stories include an inclination of korea in 60’s and 80's. First of all, he would overcome the death and tragedy of existence with westernㆍrational viewpoint in 「Biga」 Stories, Korean society in 60’s has an inclination of dicchotomic and linear in temporal sense. That inclination influenced in poetry. It needs to deny the world for disclouring that tragedy and it would be possible to recognize a existence of human. That aesthetics of tragedy in western connect to Hegel's dialetic. 「Pungjang」 stories present another aesthetics of tragedy after 「Biga」 stories. It takes over twenty years. Korean society in 80's reveals diverse complications in stratum. These complications based on economic affluence. Orientalㆍcontemplative viewpoint spears after Christianity in 「Biga」 stories that could not solve the complications with rationality and reason in thought. The poet learn the way to compromise with world. It is possible with wind. No more death is the motive to reveal for existence. Another feature appears that death makes possible existence. 「Pungjang」 stories recommend the future of korean literature.

The purpose of this writing is to analyse the mutual text relationship between the concrete analysis about his one of masterpieces,「Hyang- Ah」,and his whole works. This paper aims at researching immanently to clarify the system and structure of the poetic speech technique which is appeared in「Hyang- Ah」and investigate mutually through text research that connection aspect with「Hyang―Aa」and his whole poetic world that belong at his early in Shn-Dong-Yub’s references other work and vulvas. Because these work is for supplementing the existent lucubration that localize Shn-Dong-Yub’s current poetic world in 1960’s and wish to maintain more meticulous investigation and general approach.
