Choiyeolbujeon, Gimjanggunjeon and Dongniseonsaengjeon have common point. Firstly, main characters show a 'lack' before they accomplish their tasks related faith(fidelity or filial duty). This 'lack' does not exist for the formula that 'they accomplished it despite the 'lack'. To make the formula correct, the lack should have been means for faith to achieve Confucianism, and the theme of Jeon should definitely have sticked to the Confucianism. However, three Jeon of Josusam do not hold faith, fidelity and filial duty as a result of 'lack', but purity and immersion of characters. The results of the purity and immersion are only connected to public ideology, i.e., faith, fidelity and filial duty. Secondly, these three Jeon do not concentrate on the Confucianism of 'faith, fidelity and filial duty'. Regardless of purity, immersion and confucian ideology by education, Josusam considers unfair judgement about the results of 'faith, fidelity and filial duty'. Finally, Josusam keeps his distance from conservative Jeon which generally describes confucian characters, but he criticizes the unfair world preferring ideological judgement about people's life. Therefore, the understanding his five Jeon that they have a contradiction between confucian ideology and free spirit is a result of superficial reading. This superficial understanding might derive from the author Josusam's characteristics intending the suggestive subject by organization and literary style instead of straight exposure.

This study attempted to review that the trend of lyrics such as is correlated to the satisfaction with the desire to dominate through family-centered ideologic protection or to keep vested rights. In the process, it was found that satisfaction with the desire began from control of emotion. 「Sakugo」 was a practical case that shows thorough control on women not to express any feelings they have. In addition, such controlled emotion was fixed, led to discrimination, and it was accepted naturally. That is, such fixed emotion control made discrimination natural. The control of emotion was expressed in a way of controling languages. In a lot of literary works, we can meet the demand ‘Not to see what you're see’ and ‘Not to listen to what you listening to’. It is a overall control of emotion requesting not to see, say, and think of. The discrimination disclosed in this control is disguised as duty to the family. Eleven items shown in are all for daughter-in-law's duties and obligation. The completion of the duty is all the daughter-in-law's responsibility. As a result, it produces a vicious circle because the "duty" and "obligation" can not help forcing control, and the fixed control brings discrimination. Next this research reviewed that in social confusion in the end of Chosun Dynasty, the nobility selected using an ideology as a way to get out of the crisis. As we know from the background of , the first step to mobilize an ideology was a family. was moral lessons for daughters, but the subjects who read and practice them was already daughter-in-laws and the place for the practice was the in-law's. Thus, the in-law's for the daughters-in-law was where they had to practice forced ideology, and their feelings and emotion are completely controlled. It was discrimination for them to accept as a social factor during the practice and repression. But on the contrary, the discriminative factors at in-law's can be a factor to attract social recognition for women, which means that the ideology that time existed as distorted. We can see it through at the point where the nobility's desire to dominate meets conflict with women's desire for recognition. Of course, it can be said that completely controlled emotion and human discrimination have the distortion in themselves. The beginning of distortion was from women's awareness and insight as the subject of discrimination and control. In this process, there exists a conflict between the nobility's desire for domination and women's desire for recognition. When women's desire for recognition was satisfied, they may feel out of discrimination for the time being, but soon they shall be in another way of repression. So, 「The Management of House Affairs」 is under inconsistency itself. Through 「The Management of House Affairs」, women could obtain some recognition from man, but their obligation for support of household was strongly fixed on them. ‘Distorted ideology’ means this contradiction. That is, it is man-centered distortion in that the positive value of ideology gets broken, and at the same time it is woman-centered distortion in that it weigh heavier responsibility on women. According to the above mentioned review, I could confirm the state of family power under patriarchism, its discriminative factor, and the process of its dissolution through lyrics such as . In addition, I could read man's desire to dominate shown as ‘"Bongjesa and Jupbingaek" and woman's desire for recognition through ‘The Management of Household Affairs’ And their desire is finally to meet at a certain point as a conflict, The conflict was a motive to generate the distortion of Confucian ideology.

This study aims to make clear of modern poetry's style and the way of sense in 1920~1930th. It was constituted by the discourse of sense and the advent of new media including visual and auditory medial. In 1920th, to built the modern subject, it was offered the emotion, because the emotion was the index of the subjectivity. And, print media had an effect on the sense and style of poetry. Print media is used to be a media of visuality, but it activated traditional oral sense in those days. Kim, Uk and Joo, Yohan expressed emotion through placing emphasis on sound(music) in poetry. But style of Kim, Uk's was similar to lyric and that of Joo, Yohan's was similar to "enthusiastic voice of Byun-sa." In 1930th, emphasis on sound(music) was replaced with the sight by appearance of visual experience like cinema and modern metropolis, and the change of visual field and the way of seeing had led to style of modern poetry. As a result, the way of reading poetry was changed, from reading with mouth to reading with eyes. While Kim Kwang-gyun's poetry was constituted on the visuality through real sense experience, Lee, Sang's poetry was constituted on the visuality through abstract conceptualization. During the constitution period of early modern poetry, as the change of the sense from sound to visuality, emotional modern subject could be change the rational modern subject.

Modern Korean literature has been formed activating mixed critical assemble and disjunction aspect among literature genre. In that course, children became to surface as a subject, not landscape, throughout 'object of national enlightenment' It may be summarized as follows from children's songs origin to children's songs movement expanded series of a development process. Leading cultural movement initiatively in the background that children's songs have been created was Cheondogyo junior member's activity, resistance for compulsive transplantation of Japanese education system, influence of Christianity hymn, etc. Development aspect for Children's songs has been analyzed in various layers. First, a great deal of works related with children's literary magazine were demanded. Therefore, beginning of the correspondence column became impetus of children's songs movement so that children were reader and writer at the same time. Second, the discourse for children's songs was expanded with engagement of the press. Children are put up by means of secret resistance for Japan. Third, children's song and children's poetry were mixed and divided, and musicality of children's songs became to be changed into literary value simultaneously. And the concern for children's song got higher with class problem developed in children's songs. Aspect of children's songs movement evolved from 1920's started for children, but that has nature for adults at once.

This study, noting that Baekseok's poems prior to the liberation include many poems which figured the past, looked into the realization mode of memory indicated in Baekseok's poems. As a result of examining Baekseok's poems on the basis of Aleida Assmann's cultural memory theory, it could be known that Baekseok's poems of remembering the past was the product of exchange between 'storage memory' and 'function memory'. So to speak, the memories that were selected among storage memories, a storage of memories which were not used and not arranged and that were given some meanings is to move into an area of memories. These processes are involved in oblivion, because newly formed remembrance becomes possible owing to memories which disappeared into oblivion. Through a poetic method of composing function memories on the basis of stored memories, Baekseok newly creates the forgotten value now. In the second place, as memory media of Baekseok's poems, the author examined 'the body' and 'the place'. In order for a memory to be stored into the body, a special stability device is needed, linguistic habit and sentiments play such a role in Baekseok's poems. That is, frequently heard stories and pidginized accidents easily make memories fixed and so does strongly applies mental image or feeling. The place, another memory media, is presented in Baekseok's poems in two aspects; one is a memory for a place, and another is a place of a memory. A poem of memory for a place is a mode of remembering the past accidents and persons based on a certain place, and a poem for a memory place is a mode of taking out memories that the place includes or commemorates. A memory place appears in Baekseok's travel poems, which, in most cases, remind of past historical events. This paper found that Baekseok is engaged in modern introspection of reflecting upon himself in a poetic method named realization of memory. Baekseok looks for identity of life and discovers the value of life, composing function memories through poems.

The purpose of this thesis is to consider a sensitivity poetic that will be tried to interpret of works with new method. The existing debates that was based upon the theme of sensitivity have emphasized to construct theoretical system of sensitivity as ever. Sensitivity is real. But it is impossible that a structure of sensitivity was actualized logically. It's because that the realm of sensitivity cloud not systematize to logical organization. However, through the mutual-subjectivity among reason, intelligence and sensitivity, we can estimate horizon and set up status o sensitivity. The status and role of poetics was reveal to enter into a relation rhetoric and linguistics. In order to this debate we have to make the best use of palimpsest concept in signified and signifiant. I had discussed that the biggest feature of sensitivity-poetic is dialectical directivity. I brought many concepts from Maurice Blanchot's thinking, Non-Dialectic. I made an additional study about the Hegelian dialectic, Adorno's negative dialectic, Deleuze's Anti-Dialectic. I analyzed Kim, soo young's poem Pool with dialecticS. I have made unfamiliar terms go ahead. So I cloud not giving a good deal of space to establish meaning of words. After many works were analyzed and based on analysis, this thesis will be able to enhance the value. I don't want to reach to the utmost interpretation or absolute interpretation. I hope to contribute to seek possibility of diversity reading.

This study focuses on the irony of Kiimsooyoung's poem in the modernity. Acccording to M.Berman's view, the core of modernity is the irony which is a poet's split of desire in the crowd of people, for example, Ch.Baudlaire. He looks forward to light, woman, product and fashion in the city. He falls under the fashion and flux of crowd in the city. In spite of his desire, he criticizes them that the capital city produces. Bermans says, it's a irony of the modernity that any poet never avoid. It is first found out Yisang's irony. But it is a smack that Yisang did not recognize on oneself. Kimsooyoung recognizes modern poet's irony certainly. He went through bad historical expereance: a colony, a internal war(6.25), the tragic division of Korean peninsula, a dictatorship. He fully awares of inevitability of poet's pollution in his those days. He made his irony into poems. It is a core of his poems. 「The Rabbit(토끼)」 is difficult a poem to understand. But I understand this poem is made of a allegory, non symbol. The allegory of this poem is reflection of modern poet and poetry in the contamiated world. It is impossible that there is pure poet or pure poetic language. 「The White ant(白蟻)」 is also hard difficult to interprete. But I think that the poems show us a irony of the modern poet in 1950' in Korea. He engages in corrupt the world in 1950'. Kimsooyoung attached too much importance to the darkness which he regard as a tool to overcome corrupt world. 「The changed horizon(바뀌어진 지평선)」, 「A Water stove(水煖爐)」 show Kim's this poetic consciousness.

The purpose of this treatise is to illuminate the motive of visit to Japan of him through analysis of Son Chang-seoup's historical novelS. For the purpose of purpose of this treatise, this treatise selected his historical novels of three volumes as concentrative analysis object texts- 『A eunuch』, 『Dark night』, 『Shine brilliantly in history』 which mainly was publicated in 1960's late. This treatise can confirm one interesting fact which his historical novels of three volumes have a point of sameness. The point of sameness is that his historical novels of three volumes commonly mobilized historical allegory as main narrative strategy which projects criticism and satire to the circumstances of 1960's late to the historical accident and character of the past. 『A eunuch』 mobilized eunuch motif. [Dark night』 mobilized military regime in the Korea dynasty. 『Shine brilliantly in history』 mobilized Backje dynasty. The three historical accidents and characters produced the intended effects in the Son Chang-seoup's historical novels which projects his criticism and satire to the circumstances of 1960's late. In conclusion, this thesis confirmed one important fact which Son Chang-seoup's fundamental ethos to the circumstances of 1960's late was 'negation' and 'disillusion'. In addition, this thesis confirmed one fact which historical allegory has a defect which reduced of density and strength his criticism and satire to the circumstances of 1960's late. In conclusion, this thesis interpreted three volumes of historical novels as pretext of 『the road』 which more obviously exposed the motive of visit to Japan of him.

일제말기 소설과 ‘자기’의 정치 - 이석훈 소설론

This paper centered on autobiographical text which was written by Suk Hoon Lee in the 1930~40’s looked at a literary conversion process and the future writing after the conversion. Such discussion starts from an interest on how “national literature” visualized, interpreted and practiced during a colonization of Chosun(Korea). By reflecting the background and activity of Lee, Suk-Hoon on this personal novel, he tried to demonstrate his loyalty to Japan. In order to emphasize the authenticity of his innovations, he overcame an inner conflicts and had to portray his struggle for trials of reality. However this displayed a negative reality of Korea that had emphasized the consequences of how difficult it is for Koreans to become a Japanese citizen. Therefore, he was not able to narrate the completion of Japanese citizen and left the images of the colonists always suffering from doubts and loneliness. Lee, Suk-Hoon, by adhering to the format of personalized novels continuously were not able to avoid such difficulties and eventually deviated off the Korean literary circles. A novel by Lee, Suk-Hoon is meaningful in that it portrays the reformation of logic and identity of an intellectuals in the colonial era.

O.F.Bollnow insists that humans live on nerves which inner space and external space make different characters fundamentally and soundness of human life is based on balancing two areas. Lee Seungwoo’s short story, 「I will live very long」 is a work that has time setting for IMF’s financial crisis. Protagonist is a middle-aged man who was once a company’s CEO but is now totally broke because of restructuring company. He was unbearably humiliated by young union workers while being robbed of his company. He has insomnia due to anger and fury and completely gave up his relationships to external space with sinking into despair. And he became isolated from society and family in the end, by confining himself in inner space like a cave and a coffin. He shows topophilia about a cave, a wooden rice chest, and a coffin representing mother’s womb, and claims the life in extremely small space is not uncomfortable or miserable at all. However, the work represents paradoxically that IMF’s violent condition hurt a sound man and was enough to make him isolated and confined in autistic space. Especially the protagonist lives in a rectangular coffin, he made, all day long not to mention sleeping, the coffin is not for living person, but dead one. His confinement into a coffin stands for symbolical death. A male person should support his family by economic activities. But financial crisis robbed his role and made him run away to autistic space. That means death of male ego. Like O.F.Bollnow opinion, a person’s soundness can be founded in balance between inner space and external space, the work shows that a person who lost balance by failure in external space can’t discover true happiness even in home, an inner space.
