Since the mid-1980`s, strategic alliances are dominantly hailed as an effective growth and survival strategy in the era of international market and multinational corporation. There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon. There is an increasing globalization of markets in an ever-widening band of industries, together with the development of global technologies that makes production cycles shorten and the ever-increasing demand for investment resources and information to cope with the changing environment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of corporation information system in strategic alliance mode, and to analyze the main factors which are affecting the choice of strategic alliance mode by Korean firms. This study can also contribute theoretical and practical suggestive points in relation to strategic alliance operations. However, it also has limits as an exploratory study due to lacks of prior studies and proper methodologies and so on. Accordingly, the phenomenon of international strategic alliances call for further studies on casual relationships between main factors and variables in this field.

디지털 경영에서 고객관계 활성화를 위한 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 서비스 품질에 관한 연구

This study attempts to find out what kind of service quality is considered important by customers in using the Internet shopping mall and suggests the way to activate the customer relationship. The findings based on empirical analysis are shown here. First, empirical analysis of the contextual factors such as gender, education, and experience levels, shows that what customers perceive as most important in the product purchase is security in terns of the payment and personal information service. The second important service quality factor perceived by customers is responsiveness, particularly the rapidity and accuracy of response to their needs and wants. The customers also considered price, quality and diversity of the product as being important. Furthermore, there is no big difference among other service quality factors. Second, in the different gender context, there is no significant difference between the genders. However, the male group shows an even distribution of factors valued in the service quality, whereas female respondents placed stronger emphases on particular aspects of service, such as security, response, reliability and product quality. Third, in the context of different education level, the payment method between graduates and non graduates has a significant difference. That is, the non graduates prefer the credit card and saving through ATM, while the graduates use dual payment method using credit card and another payment method together. Therefore, the various payment methods should be considered according to the customer type, namely graduates or non graduates. Fourth, in the context of different experience level, the result of the empirical analysis of the factors of the service quality shows no great difference between experienced and inexperienced customers. Both types of customer perceive security as the most important. To sum up, the service quality perceived by the customers of Internet shopping malls is empirically analyzed in different contexts such as gender, education, and experience. Then, the device for the customer relationship activation is suggested. It can be utilized as a guideline for the continuing diffusion of the Internet shopping mall, giving it a competitive advantage against other companies.

웹 사이트의 품질 결정요인과 고객 만족도, 몰입, 성과간의 관계에 관한 연구

The virtual space of internet has changed the existed market structure as more and more internet users have highly increased. And this situation has given a golden opportunity to the internet service firms that are supposed to meet their customers through the internet web sites. So, it is becoming a critical issues to construct and keep better web sites than their competitors to the internet service firms. This paper is intented as an investigation of determination factors of internet web site quality further, which of them are more important factors to the consumer satisfaction. For this purpose, empirical approach using factor analysis, regression analysis was used to develop dimensions of internet web site quality and to explore more important factors that internet service firms should choose to have competitiveness. Empirical results of the study presented that the determination factors of internet web site quality were composed of five factors like responsiveness, accessibility, ease of use, system performance, communication. And we found that Communication and Ease of use are more important factors than other ones. Therefore, the internet service firms that are plan to have more competitiveness than their competitors should choice these important factors and concentrate on these ones to build excellent internet web sites.

전자무역 포탈사이트의 서비스품질과 이용자만족도에 관한 실증적 연구

This paper examines the major determinants affecting the user satisfaction on e-Trade portal sites in small and medium-sized exporters. The development of our research model is based on the empirical studies on the service quality of information system, web sites or Internet shopping mall, and on the factors influencing the user satisfaction. With the help of a regression analysis and factor analysis, five hypotheses are derived and tested. The results from regression analysis suggest that the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is affected by information characteristics and ease of use of e-Trade portal sites. In addition, the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is enhanced by support for international trade. The findings in this paper will be useful, especially for those who are planning to build user-oriented e-Trade portal sites.

E-Trade is expected to dominate the global trade in the 21st century and thus is being introduced as a major policy assignment for each development country. E-trade has the potential to accelerate existing trends and introduce new ways of conducting trade and e-trade is an alternative to strengthen international competitiveness. Therefore, we needs to quickly adjust to this new method of e-trade and provide a number of policy suggestions that it can make best use of. However, successful implementation, diffusion and usage of e-trade system require cooperation, commitment and the trust of all participating members in international trade process. A number of interorganizational, inttaorganizational and innovation factors can influence both the extent to which e-trade is diffused and the level of subsequent performance that accure to participating firms. Considering the characteristics of e-trade, the proposed factors are based on an interdisciplinary study. The research model is based on the theories of innovation diffusion, inter-organizational system, and IS implementation. The factors proposed for this study of external firm factors, internal firm and perception factors.

한국에서의 전자선화증권 운용을 위한 종합계획수립에 관한 연구

In order to succeed in e-Trade Project in Korea, the related parties endeavor to introduce the e-title registry model such as Bolero model(Title Registry Model) and TEDI model (Repository Service Provider Model). Prior to mentioning the Model of e-Title Registry, desirable Global e-Trade Platform is the platform connecting Global e-Trade Platforms in each country and Bolero`s Core Messaging Platform and e-Title Registry must be established in each county. Each e-Title Registry must be connected with another registry. Like Korea, Recognized Electronic Document Repository must be established as proxy for preserving, attesting, carrying out sending and receiving electronic document to prevent livid disputes between parties and to carry out notarizing electronic documents and related transaction. The purpose of this paper is to promote the introduction of e-Title Registry in the e-Trade and to streamline the procedures of the electronic bill of lading.

Recently, Digital Switch has risen as one of the important issues on which academic and industrial world focus in order to bring organizational transformation to a company that wants to adapt itself to the rapidly changing business environment. However, the discussion in the Digital Switch has been so much concentrated in the study of each static system, model of their performance and the development of monitoring each of them, that only few theoretical research has been carried out on the dynamic process of how each system in the organization experienced the change in terms of the level of digital transformation that can occur in the whole organization facing the change of digital environment. Therefore this thesis aims to develop a new model & strategy of switching to global digital by OEM companies in Jeonlabuk-do that enables us to check out and predict the Digital Switch progress. This model is the first Digital Switch process evaluation intended for empirical study, especially by integrating the many indices that have not been examined empirically by the existing studies. We expect that the results from this research will help corporate e-business strategy planners to devise and analyze the Digital Switch strategies effectively by recognizing the companies` current situation in comparison with their previous and other firms` level, respectively.

전자문서 이용확산을 위한 공인 전자문서보관소의 도입 필요성과 입법내용

There are increasing needs for an individual or enterprise to interchange documents electronically through communication network to enhance the efficiency of business, owing to rapid process of transactions. But e-commerce encountets the problems regarding the handling the electronic documents, that is to say, deposit and proof of the electronic documents. This paper deals with Authorized Electronic Data Depot as an integrated system for processing, relaying and proving documents that . Authorized Electronic Data Depot operates as e-enabler in exchanging documents in trust among administrative agencies and a comprehensive government directory, digital government seal certification system and DNS system. Authorized Electronic Data Depot leads public and private sectors to save the paper-related costs. But the regulations concerning an authorized electronic data depot is introduced in the course of revision of Electronic Transactions Act. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some guidelines in legalizing the authorized electronic data depot.

As national income of a country increases, people`s needs for the services are also increasing. Recently, Korea has been confronted with deficit of service account in BOP, despite surplus of goods account. We can suppose that the reason why service deficit has been occurred continuously is mainly due to the system of Korean Foreign Trade Act which exclude the regulation of trade in services. That is, the Act could not regulate trade in services in Korea. So, Korea could not promote the export strategies for trade in services. This paper focuses on discovering the substitutional strategies for the revision of Foreign Trade Act in Korea As a result, it was concluded that Foreign Trade Act in Korea should be reestablished fundamentally and also should include the articles related to trade in services and trade in goods simultaneously.

e-law : On China`s Intellectual Property Rights Protection Online

Online people conduct all kinds of business activities, such as promoting the sales of products and services, reading newspapers, watching TV and movies, and sending business messages by e-mail, by e-voice and by a-fax. Computers with access to the Internet are defined by the United Nations as the fourth media characterized by instantaneousness, openness, limitlessness, boundlessness and globalization. With the development and popularization of the Internet and the advance of the information technology in China, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) violations online have frequently occurred in e-business activities. IPRs protection online has posed a great challenge not only for business managers and officials, but also for judges and lawyers because the rapid development of the Internet has created a legal vacuum governed by no laws in IPRs violation and protection online in China. The paper at first classifies IPRs into several categories, then reveals China`s serious problems and challenges of IPRs violations online and stresses the necessity of China`s IPRs protection online. Finally it puts forward some suggestions concerning IPRs protection online.
