File sharing through P2P was decided as illegal according to Supreme Court of the U.S. and the Highest Court of Korea in 2005. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. et al. v. Grokster, LTD., et al. and Soribada v. Korea Association for Music Providers have the same ground for decision. P2P service company has vicarious liability for illegal file sharing of its customers. Balance between copyright protection and development of technology was considered in that decision. Programmer who will develop new program for free download and copyright holders who will exploit every measures to protect their right may compromise for their mutual benefits.

To develop and validate an instrument to measure user satisfaction in Internet shopping environment, the EUCS instrument by Doll and Torkzadeh (1988) was used for this research. The results of the study shows how the main constructs of the model that will eventually interact for the user satisfaction in internet commerce environment. This research will present significant progress towards keeping the End-User Computing Satisfaction instrument relevant and applicable under the Internet shopping environment.

All over the country tries to clarify the content of ``Public Policy`` in recognition and implementation of Foreign Arbitral Awards:it makes comments of the international consensus of Geneva Convention(1927), New York Convention(1958) and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Public Policy, and it takes a general view of domestic laws how they deal with Public policy and Foreign Arbitral Awards. Foreign Arbitral Awards should be appropriately respected and implementation by the courts of countries encourage parties in a legal procedure to refuse enforcement by invoking "Public Policy." In order to cope with such invocations, the purport of the above recommendation on Foreign Arbitral Awards should be internationally recognized and the exceptional circumstances should be restricted unless the International Court of Arbitral Awards is not established a Dr. Holtzmann/Schwebel brought forward. In this paper suggests the list of the exceptional circumstances. Korean Arbitration Law stipulates as the Civil proceeding Law did, "good morals and the social order of the Republic of Korea" as a ground for refusing enforcement of Arbitral Awards. Studies on counteraction against invocations of Public Policy to refuse enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards should be developed.

국제촉진수단으로서의 무역전시회(Trade Show)의 효과성 및 전략적 활용방안 연구

Though trade shows have emerged as an increasingly significant component in companies` international promotional tools, little research has examined this activity and previous findings on this theme are few and mostly foreign. With the trade show costs rising, exhibitors are forced to exert more effort to their trade show success. This research studies the effectiveness of trade show as a international promotion method and suggests strategic management program to enhance trade show performance such as image-building, sales-related, information-gathering, and relationship-improvement. Our suggestions are as follows: (1) Marketing executives should make a plan for trade show management and set their trade show objectives before trade show opens. (2) Companies should reinforce pre-show promotion and booth staff training. (3) After trade shows close, it should measure their trade show performance. These are key success factors for companies to enhance their trade show performance. By implementing these success factors effectively, exhibitors can have better performance of trade show.

GSCM전략과 사업성과에 관한 연구 -두리비전 사례를 중심으로-

This paper examines the global supply chain management strategy and business performance of Doolee Vision Co. Ltd.. Based on the analysis of eighty-seven cases, the following results were found. First, it was found that just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in transformation sector. Second, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in custody sector. Third, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in order response and support sector. Forth, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in customs sector. Fifth, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in customer service sector. However, several limitations, such as measurement for intra-industry homogeneity, measurement for flexibility of global supply chain management strategy, and measurement for business performance of global supply chain management, that make the preceding conclusions be considered preliminary.

Wealth Management Framework Experienced in Korean Financial Enterprises

A Systematic Wealth Management Framework (SWMF) was developed as a private banking management tool to enable more integrative personal finance management of personal wealth. It is a reference model that provides an unified framework for development, operation, and management and makes provision for personal financial services in today`s complex financial environment. This study suggested some practical results from banks and insurance companies that have established SWMF as the differentiation business strategy for wealthy customers. The focus of this manuscript is on capturing the methodological approach most financial institutions in Korea adopted to execute new e-finance planning and implementation based on the SWMF. The alignment between the wealth management business goals and information system architecture at an organization constitutes the main theoretical basis of the study. Relevant discussions are made on the wealth management framework as a general business model for financial industry, on the functional relationship between new information systems and business organizations. Finally, lessons learned from the SWMF implementation are discussed.

Since the inauguration of WTO system has made borderless competition across the countries, many government should try to find out the harmonious policy paradigm for the check and balance between the globalization and localization. The government procurement market has been considered as one of this kinds of difficult tasks for the local small and medium companies. Many governments should lift the paradigm of the government procurement market toward the conditionally open competitive market. The paper is aimed to find out the sustainable governance of the government procurement policies to protect the local companies. Based on the many international cases, including the Chille-Korea FTA, the paper concludes the sustainable governance of the policies should be focused on the equitability and transparency.

This research develops, and empirically test a model for explaining/predicting the Determinants and Satisfaction of Portal Cite in Internet Initiation Page. Also this paper describes a theoretical model for investigating the service quality satisfaction in the Internet Initiation Page. This research is the first to empirical test the causal relationships in determinants of Portal Cite. The model of the satisfaction for Portal Cite are tested here using data from 224 samples. Based on the research model, a comprehensive set of hypotheses is formulated and a methodology for testing them is outlined. some of the hypotheses are tested empirically to demonstrate the applicability of the theoretical model. In examining the relationships of the determinants factors, satisfaction show in significantly by Convenience, Information Provided, Entertainments, Interaction but that show in not significantly by the Trustworthiness, In addition, Portal Cite in Internet Initiation Page shows indirect effect between customer satisfaction and referral.

해외전시회에서 참관객 만족요인에 관한 연구

This is the research on the correlation between the marketing activities conducted by the companies participating in the overseas exhibitions in the exhibition and the satisfaction of the visitors. I have been able to obtain the following findings through the positive research on the satisfaction of the visitors to the overseas exhibitions. The research findings show that the external elements of the participating companies such as `external appearances of booths, interior facilities and the atmosphere`, `designs of exhibits`, `size of the participating companies`, and the publicity elements of the participating companies such as `the degree of application of mass media`, `prior publicity of the participating companies`, etc. among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies in the exhibition affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors. The findings also show that the elements to induce the interest of the visitors such as the booth design and display of products where the participating companies may produce their unique image and the prior publicity to the visitors constitute the important elements of marketing. It has also been revealed that the visitors whose purpose of the visits are to purchase the products and to satisfy their interest in `the events and contents of the events affect the interest and the repeat business deals of the visitors, among the interest and repeat business deals pursuant to the characteristics of the visitors. It has also been found that the visitors who have recognized the representative brands in the exhibitions affect the interest and the repeat business deals and the visitors who have visited the exhibition several times are more satisfied than the visitors who have visited the exhibition for the first time. The comparative evaluation of the degree of importance of the marketing activities of the participating companies before the visitors` visit to the exhibitions and the degree of satisfaction after their visit reveals degrees of satisfaction in the order of `the booth staff`s professional knowledge of the exhibits`, `foreign language proficiency and their techniques of negotiation and demonstration`, `designs of the exhibits (colors and packaging), `prior publicity of the participating companies. Such being the case, the companies participating in any of the overseas should maximize the result of their participation in the exhibition by training their staff in the products and foreign languages and through the prior publicity. It has also been found out that "the atmosphere of the booth in the exhibition such as `launching of new products`, `external appearances of the booth, layout of the interior facilities and the atmosphere and events of the participating companies affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors, among the factors for the satisfaction of the visitors. Therefore, it has been proven that the external factors such as the external appearances of the booth, display of the products, launching of new products and events producing the atmosphere of the booth of the participating companies among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies, and the extent of the training of the booth staff and prior publicity are the major factors affecting the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors.

미국 FTA의 통신기술표준 규범: 특징 및 시사점

The Korea-US dispute on telecom standards has shown the inability of existing trade rules that can be applicable to standardization policy in telecom services sector. It has entailed plenty of dissenting but unsolved trade issues, including legal jurisdiction over technical standards on telecom services and their compatibility with WTO agreements. Question remains how US will cope with this tricky trade puzzle. This paper points out that Korea-US negotiations on telecom standards have provided US with a momentum to think seriously over the necessity of further rule-setting on telecom standards, and FTAs are the rescue train for US to ride on for that purpose. That is to say, US is taking advantage of FTA as a means to promote its national commercial goals by creating trade rules, which seek to deprive its trading partners of regulatory autonomy in telecom standardization. Based upon the research output, it is very important for Korean government in the upcoming Korea-US FTA negotiations to ensure facilitating public policy objectives in telecom standardization as possible as it can, and not to adopt the provision of international standards in the existing US` FTAs.
