The development of information technology got rid of much restriction on time and space, inviting earlier knowledge based society. The growing e-commerce based on internet alters the existing way of management in business groups and countries to one based on e-business. Especially, neighboring Far-East Asia countries are on the way of increasing their interest and efforts on e-commerce. Also they continue to give support to e-commerce and explore the way to North-East Asia e-Hub, on the government level. Against this backdrop, this study tried to review the current status and supporting system of e-commerce in 6 North-East Asia countries(South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore), as a preliminary work for building the base of e-commerce and spurring the economic cooperation through e-commerce in North-East Asia region. I expect that this review would do the role of basic material for exploring and prospecting Korea`s possibility as the North-East Asia e-Hub.

통관 EDI 서비스에서 신뢰차원이 신고인의 세관 충성도에 미치는 실증분석

EDI is fast becoming the standard way of exchanging business documents, not only in this country but throughout the world. The purpose of EDI is currently being used for all the most common business transactions such as purchase orders, invoice, quotes, bill of lading, status reports, receiving advices; and also for some very specific transaction. Thus, the purpose of this study, by way of literature survey and survey research are to find the effectiveness in EDI Service of Clearance Physical. The model of the Trust Dimension and EDI Provider Loyalty in EDI Service of Clearance Physical is tested here using data from 163 samples. Based on the research model, a comprehensive set of hypotheses is formulated and a methodology for testing them is outlined. some of the hypotheses are tested empirically to demonstrate the applicability of the theoretical model. In examining the relationships of the Clearance EDI determinants factors, Trust and e-loyalty show in significantly by customs practice trust, clearance EDI, EDI provider trust and clearance EDI loyalty. but that show in not significantly by a list of names, EDI benevolence.

WTO 정부조달협정과 BOT 계약

The United States demands that the Korean Government include in the WTO GPA the privately invested projects of the BOT contract. Controversy surrounding BOT contract will continue. As of result of opening up of private investment market including BOT contracts, inflow of foreign capital will be expanded, and it will provide an opportunity for rectifying any unreasonable policies or regulations. With active penetration of foreign companies, there is a possibility for deepening of competition in the private investment market, and if a foreign administrative company is selected, possibility of assigning high value works such as design to foreign companies leaving labor intensive work such as construction to domestic companies exists, and also, difficulties resulting from agreement between the employer and the foreign administrative company exists. Large-scale construction companies must put forth their efficiency and creativity, and through revolutionary constructions by private sectors, reduction in construction cost should be made possible, and must also increase efficiency in maintenance, repair, and management of the facility. On the other hand, in order for Korean construction companies of BOT businesses to be able to enter the foreign BOT industry, the government needs to conduct studies in information and policies of various nations.

Joined WTO, China has revised or removed continuously some of existing enter barriers which have been protecting Chinese distribution market. Chinese government intend to open completely it`s distribution market in 2007. Such as the open policy of Chinese distribution impact on Korean firms which invest in China. in order to occupy China`s market, Korean firms needs to prepare counterplan on change of China`s distribution environments. China`s distribution environment is uncertain on account of remaining communism system even though opening it`s distribution market. The purpose of this paper is to suggest diverse counterplan of Korean firms and answer how Korean firms can enter the China`s distribution market successfully. through exmaninig how China`s distribution channel is formulated and implemented. this study exhibits a model for strategy of Korean firms and shows implementations schemes.

중국의 서비스수출전략과 한국의 대응방안

The world industry structure is characterized as service economics concerned with key words of global, information and culture. Developed countries have expanded a value-added of service economics along with rapid growth of service economics. In this change of economic environment in the world, China have converted their strategy of an economic management into coping with the industrial structure of service in the 11th 5-year plan. The purpose of the paper, therefore, is to find out the new commerce strategy of China, and searching for the counter plan of Korea. Chapter 2 begins with the change of economic strategy in China and their cultural factors using service industry. Chapter3 deals with, from the basis of chapter 2, China`s service export strategy to abroad and our counter plan that is able to export and expand Korean service and culture industry into China.

무역결제방식의 변화에 따른 수출보험제도의 개선방안에 관한 연구

The recent trend in the payment terms of international trade shows the gradual shift toward more diversified payment methods (from L/C to not L/C) in order to cope with the increasingly dynamic international transactions in a more flexible manner. The reasons behind this recent shift are as follows:first, the global trade market is breaking away from the traditional L/C methods based on letters of credit toward a not L/C methods. nother reason for the changing trade payment methods is the increasing volume of intra transactions between headquarters and their foreign subsidiaries based on collection payment methods. Having mentioned the above problems that impede the Korean export insurance system, some suggestions can be put forward through a comparative analysis with foreign export insurance system. First, inducing private investments is one way of strengthening financial health of the KEIC. The KEIC also needs to diversify its insurance coverage adapting to the changing international trade environments.

An Arbitration agreement is one kind of contracts between two or more contracting parties; any possible disputes that arise concerning a contract will be settled by arbitration. The parties are free to agree on the number of arbitrators. The role of the arbitrator is so significant in the arbitration system that its success or failure may depend on the credibility of the arbitrator. The purpose of this paper is to examine the specific elements of the Arbitration Clause through arbitration laws, arbitration rules and the related cases, to introduce the standard clause which are recommended by the international institution and the individual countries, and to make the parties of international commercial contracts reflect them in their contracts. Thus this author would like to recommend the famous and well known the Standard Clause which were drafted by international institution such as ICC and UNCITRAL or individual countries.(LCIA,AAA, CIETAC, KCAB)

동북아물류허브화를 위한 종합물류업의 발전적 과제

In this year(2006), the Korean government has announced the integrated logistics promotion act, to improve the international competitiveness of Korean logistics companies and to develop the north-east asia logistics hubs. Therefore, in this study, emphasized to goes forward better and presents integrated logistics industry expansive assignment through domestic logistics companies` problem and integrated logistics industry investigation of certification system as plan for successful fixing of integrated logistics industry for Northeast Asia logistics hub while strengthen international competitiveness of domestic professional logistics companies. So that the South Korea becomes Northeast Asia logistics hub country, to expand lacking logistics infra at good time is important, also, reform backward logistics system of consignor companies and advance actively to the Northeast Asia logistics market is very important to improve the professional logistics companies` upbringing to lead the Northeast Asia logistics market.

T-Commerce 요인에 따른 사용의도 판별에 관한 연구

In recent, T-commerce is widely dispersed as alternative type of commerce. It is forecasted that t-commerce system is used more than e-commerce system. Therefore more and more t-commerce-related industries are also recognizing that t-commerce is a critical business model. It is needed to understand the concept of t-commerce and develop the t-commerce marketing strategy. CEO analyses consumer`s behaviors according to the data about buyers and applies the advantage of t-commerce to the communication with customers. This t-commerce system plays an important role in maximizing customer satisfaction and affecting their intention to reuse it. Therefore this paper attempts to identify T-commerce critical success factors and divide between use-intention group and unuse-intention group by taking out a discriminant function by the discriminant analysis. This lays a foundation in developing T-commerce strategy. According to the discriminant function extracted, convenience factor, amusement factor, system quality factor, product perception factor are significant in the sequence of influential degree. However, usefulness factor and speedy connection factor are not significant. In result, the target hitting rate is 77.9% in the first unuse-intention group and it is 95.2% in the second use-intention group. The total discriminant target hitting rate is computed to higher value, 86.55%. The statistic package, SPSS 12.0, is used to survey and analyse data and test the hypothesis. The validity and reliability of variables are verified by both reliability analysis and factor analysis. The discriminant analysis is used to tell the difference between use-intention group and unuse-intention group.

The purpose of this study was to analyze export competitiveness of Korean auto parts and Chinese auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the imported products by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Analyzing period was 1998-2005. The analysis of Korean results of MCA indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.94, 8708.99, 8708.92. The products which will have export competitiveness in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.93, 8708.39, 8708.60 respectively. On the other hand, the results indicated that the Chinese auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.31, 8708.91, 8708.60, 8708.39. From this study, we find the following strategies for successful advancing into the U.S. and world market. ⅰ) Linking strategy through working cooperation with local auto firms, government and academic world. ⅱ) Advance strategy of auto firm accompany by module working and system auto parts firm. ⅲ) Retention strategy of large technical institution established by auto parts firms and taking cooperation of auto firms ⅳ) Settlement strategy for having weaken competitive article and production field. ⅴ) Cost-cutting strategy through strengthening logistics cooperation system between auto parts firms and auto firms. ⅵ) Active invitation strategy of foreign investment under quickly cooperating of government.
