태양전지 부품용 PP/탄소섬유 강화 재료의 제조 및 특성

Carbon fibers (CF) are widely being used in polymer-matrix composites because they have good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. These properties of carbon fiber are also important to apply to solar cell parts. PP/CF composites was made of polypropylene and carbon fibers whose length are different each other. The mechanical, electrical and thermal properties of these composites are analyzed by thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and universal testing machine (UTM). Finally it can be shown that an increase in fiber length can enhance the thermal stabillity of PP/CF composites and improve the mechanical and electrical properties.

Synergistic polysaccharide-polysaccharide interactions are attractive commercially and enjoy widespread technological exploitation (Cairns et al., 1987). Expensive polymers may be replaced by a cheaper mixture. Xanthan/LBG solution was prepared by adding the gum into hot water and further heating to 80℃ for about 30 min with continuous stirring to ensure complete solubility and to obtain a clear homogenous solution. The storage modulus(G`) and the yield stress of solutions were increased with increasing LBG ratio, which was mostly noticed between LBG ratio 0.5∼0.75. On the other hand shear thinning effect was shows at high shear on LBG ratio 0.25. Elastic modulus was increased with increasing LBG more than two times and it was enhancing suspending properties on emulsion. Since the rheological properties describe the fundamental information about the cosmetic, these results may be of help to the design of new feeling cosmetic emulsion.

Hollow sphere silica (HSS) materials have been extensively studied such as drug delivery system, catalyst, and display because of their extraordinary structure. Nano-sized HSS materials were synthesized by sol-gel method applying cationic surfactant CTACl in basic condition and nonionic surfactant pluronic F-68 in acidic condition, respectively. HSS samples were characterized by TEM and N(2)-sorption. Diameter of HSS-CT, which was prepared by CTACl, is about 250 nm and surface area is about 1,000 m(2)/g, but diameter of HSS-P, which was prepared by F-68, is about 30 nm and surface area is about 500 m(2)/g.

Al-doped ZnO (AZO) nanoparticle was synthesized with the size of 100 nm and the sheet resistance of 445 kΩ/□ by polyol precess. The synthesized AZO nanoparticle was directly dispersed in iso-propyl alcohol to form a homogeneous solution. Then, it was mixed with photocurable acrylate monomer which was act as the both of binder and stabilizer, when the AZO was coated on the slide glass, it showed better transparency and conductivity than commercial one.

A direct photopatterning of a vapor polymerizable and photo cross-linkable 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) was investigated in order to make it suitable for use in electronics applications. As a patternable and conductive polymer, PEDOT-MA was synthesized using vapor phase polymerization (VPP) of the (2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-2-yl) methyl methacrylate (EDOT-MA). The transparency of the conductive films was tuned using the vapor polymerization time to control the film thickness. The photo reaction of the poly(EDOT-MA)by UV light allowed for a conductivity change from 30 S/cm to 1.67 x10-3 S/cm due to the photo cross-linking of the side chain. Such photochemically induced conductivity change of the PEDOT-MA film ensured a flexible conductive pattern on a flexible polymer substrate. The mechanism of the photo-induced conductivity change can be explained by the change in electron hopping due to the twisting of the main chain accompanied by side chain cross-linking. The photo cross-linking reaction of the side chain generated micro patterns having line widths of 900 nm, in which the light-exposed areas appeared as bleached and less conductive. From this mechanism and method the flexible conductive polymer pattern was obtained and flexible electrochromic display could be fabricated.

In this study, membrane vacuum stripping process was applied to desorption process for the purpose of the reduction of desorption energy in an amine absorption process. 30 wt% of aqueous MEA (monoethanolamine), DEA (diethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine) solution were used as the absorbent and PE (polyethylene) was used as a support of composite membrane. PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) knowing flaxable and high permeability was coated on the one side of PE support with desired thickness. The stripped CO(2) fluxes were checked at various solution temperatures and vacuum pressures.

In this study, a new wet etching method and the solution for thinning the glass with the thickness below 100 μm were investigated. For the preparation of etching solution with low hydrofluoric acid, it was effective to use NH(4)HF(2) as a main ingredient with addition of sulfuric acid. Flexibility of the etched glass was greatly improved at below 100 μm thickness. To confirm the possibility as flexible display substrate, the ultra thin grass with 50 μm thickness was coated with ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) transparent electrode and its electrical conductivity was investigated.

In this work, new conjugated small molecule and polymer based on benzo [1,2-b: 4,5-b`] dithiophene (BDT) and thiophene were successfully synthesized via Suzuki and Stillcoupling reactions, respectively. Using these new materials, we introduced the ternary blended system into the donor and acceptor blended films. The device performances of organic photovoltaic cells can be improved by addition of the third component. The effect of third component on the photovoltaic properties was systematically investigated by UV-vis absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra.

Base on polyester acrylate oligomer UV curable inks were prepared to repair pinhole defects in LCD color filter production. The pinhole defects in color filter are quite common during LCD production covering 1∼2% quality non-confirming fails. The pinholes sometimes refer to while-light specks when a LCD TFT is turn-on state. The formulated UV curable ink repairs those defects by filling a defective sub-pixel using inkjet printing process. Film properties such as curing time dependence, light transmittance characteristics, hardness were analyzed based on UV-cure time, UV-Vis spectroscopy and pencil hardness tester. Correlations between the formulation and inkjet printing behavior were also discussed by real-time ejection monitoring camera.

P3HT, BDT-3T Polymer 고분자 유기박막태양전지에서의 안정도 및 효율감소에 대한 고찰

In this writing, in order to understand stability/degradation in organic solar cell devices, the device stability of poly(3-hexylthiophene) P3HT and poly(benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b` ]dithiophene- alt-terthiophene (BDT-3T) is discussed. The OPVs were fabricated using the polymers and [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyricacidmethylester (PC[60]BM) as donor and acceptor, respectively. The effect of O(2) on device stability was examined by keeping the P3HT and BDT-3Tdevices in N(2) and airand the humidity was controlled by introducing getter on encapsulation of device. The experiment was done until thousands of hours. The device stabilityof new copolymer BDT-3T was comparable to that of P3HT.
